I lived in London, England for 4 years and got used to drinking alot of teas, cappuccinos, and espresso shots.     • Keurig Review: A Second Chance Well Brewed
What a major disappointment this Keurig brand and company. The item I received is not in working order. It was defective right out of the box. We were very much looking forward to using it and sampling. We purchased the k-cups and were so happy to savor this offering. Major dud. Keurig Limited Warranty basically stated the serial number is fake and the purchase was through an unverified seller(really?) will never know brew speed, taste or color. Based on my subpar less than desirable experience with Keurig, I would not buy or recommend the brand or any products they offer. Bad taste in my mouth. Bad. Revised as of 10/31/2025- Keurig actually reached out to me — they realized (wink) they’d made a mistake when they turned me away after I requested help with one of their brand-new machines. Their PR rep confirmed my Amazon purchase, arranged to collect the defective unit, and sent me a replacement in a timely fashion. I’ve read plenty of reviews saying their customer support can be hard to deal with, and I truly hope that changes going forward. Now that the drama has been sorted, I have to admit — I’m quite fond of this machine. Starbucks and the like, consider yourselves politely replaced (haha). Now for the actual review: The materials feel solid and well-made. I can’t yet vouch for long-term durability, but so far, it’s been great. It’s easy to use — just a couple of button presses and you’re good to go. Honestly, I think the quality of your water and ingredients plays a bigger role in the flavor of your cup than the machine itself — but the machine performs flawlessly. It won’t replace your favorite barista, of course, but it will save you a trip, some time, and maybe a bit of money. Just set up your cup, press, and go. Keurig does the rest. The crema isn’t quite the same as what your barista can whip up, but it makes a good effort — you still get that satisfying foamy layer on top. Overall, this has been a hit in our household: everyone gets what they want, how they want it. I’m partial to a café au lait with a single or double espresso shot, my counterpart-in-love prefers it plain and dark, and our teen-adult offspring (currently home) makes more iced lattes than any caffeine-fueled student should, lol. In short, it works. It’s convenient, consistent, and makes coffee a breeze any time of day — a big plus in our book. The price is reasonable, and overall, it’s a solid household investment. That said, I can’t in good faith fully recommend the company based on my initial experience. They did step up and fix the issue — but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Still, everyone deserves a second chance. So here’s looking at you, Keurig — the ball’s in your court. Buy one and see for yourself — just use a good financial instrument, just in case. The coffee? I have waited a long time to get this coffee maker. I bought the fill yourself pods specific for the machine but the machine would not accept them. Once the lever/arm got stuck halfway and I had to work on it for a minute to get it to release. I was so afraid the arm would break. This coffee maker claims to produce a crema when the pressure is used. I tried several brands of Keurig coffee pods and got no crema at all. One cup of coffee looked like weak tea or dirty water. All-in-all, I was so disappointed and frustrated. I had preordered this coffee maker and was really excited to get it, only to find out it was a dud. I am returning it. Back to my Ninja Coffee maker and my $39 Keurig. Keurig has a great reputation for quality products. I'm afraid this one's a DUD. Back to the drawing board. ... show more

It took a few tries to evaluate this coffee maker. It seems to be a solid built item and works as advertised. I really like that I can get a frothy top and I think it enhances the quality of the coffee. I think Keurig got a home run on this machine.

It’s been years since I’ve had a Keurig, and this one definitely feels like a step up from the older models I remember. I made a medium roast with the pressure feature, and it actually came out with crema, which makes it look and feel more like a cafe drink. I even tried adding cream and sugar after, and the crema didn’t collapse, which was a nice surprise. I also made hot chocolate and it turned out smooth and rich. The coffee comes out hot enough to drink right away without being scalding, and the machine is simple to use. It has different size options and you can adjust the tray height for different cup sizes so it pours better. It handles both coffee pods and hot chocolate pods without any issue. It makes my coffee quality taste pretty nice for a pod system! It’s not going to rival a real fancy espresso machine, but the added pressure does make a difference compared to standard Keurigs. Functionality-wise, it does what it promises, but I’m a little on the fence about the value. At over $200, it feels a bit underwhelming when you consider that you’re still locked into buying coffee pods, descaler, etc. The machine itself works well, I have no complaints about the performance, but I’d personally recommend grabbing it on sale rather than paying full price. The part that holds the water is easy to remove and refill, and the descaling process is straightforward, though you’ll want to keep in mind it still requires regular maintenance like any pod system. Overall, it’s a nice upgrade for Keurig fans who want crema and versatility, but the price point makes me hesitate to call it great value for money. ... show more
