We really did a lot of research on reviews and watched videos downloaded. I really have no clue how anyone had any problems with this Keurig. Easy functionality, easy cleaning, frother is awesome and great tasting which for a picky coffee drinker like me, it says a lot. I actually love the taste far better than my last Keurig and Starbucks, and I used to be a Starbucks addict. If you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems. The only two things I can say that were not convenient, and it’s no deal breaker, is that it didn’t come with the filtration device like my old Keurig did and the Keurig reusable Kcup pod for your own ground coffee. Easy solution is to buy them. I had the old filtration system that fits. And order any reusable kcup that is compatible or from Keurig. Also, one review said it was noisy... uhhh noisy? No. Barely sounds when frothing and you can’t hear the coffee. I wrote this review back in September 2020. Figured I would follow up and let everyone know, BEST PURCHASE EVER! The amount of money we have saved is insane probably paid it off by now 5 times over as we were major Starbucks addicts. The last time I had a coffee at Starbucks has been since I purchased this baby. My sons love the Ice Lattes. Tip for a Starbucks flavor cap or latte, I pour my choice of Starbucks creamer to the black froth disk and the rest 2% milk. I use Bustello Expresso coffee in a reusable Kcup for a perfect cup. Perfect cup every time and I didn’t always get that at Starbucks. Buy and guaranteed you will Enjoy!

We just updated our Keurig form an older model that I gave to my daughter for college. I used to have a Capresso Milk frother and loved it, until it broke down. So I decided to get a two in one coffee maker. Best decision. I like the fact that I don't have to pull out another machine to froth my milk. I like the nickel finish, is doesnt get dirty and is sleek. There are 5 options for the coffee: shot, 6,8,10 and 12 oz. I like my coffee strong, so I like the fact that there is a strong button you can push to make the brew stronger. So I brew my coffee by pressing the strong button and 6 or 8oz, depending on how much I want to drink. The Cafe Bustelo is the best expresso coffee I have had so far. You can also brew the coffee for a latte or cappucino, which gives you enough coffee for both drinks. The milk frother can be hot or cold. Therer are marks in the container to know how much milk to put in for each drink. I actually mix my Creme Brulee coffee creamer and milk together and froth it. You cannot run the frother at the same time as brewing your coffee. The resevoir is big and holds a lot of water but it seems like it uses a lot of water, not sure why. When the water gets low, not empty, the Keurig will not brew properly. The last thing is there is plenty of room to place large travel cups. Overall, it is a great buy and I suggest it to anyone wanting to save money by making your own specialty drinks. You can customize anyway you want by getting the right coffes and right creamers or milk.

I had the Kuerig Latte machine (not the same machine as this - about $100 less) that I bought a year or so ago and it worked...kinda... so I decided to upgrade after we decided we needed a Kuerig at work. I offered to bring my machine in, so I could mentally justify buying a new one for home. Packing was great - nothing dented, broken, needing to be replaced. The nickel finish looks great in my retro-ish stainless steel, subway title kitchen. But how does it brew a cup of a coffee Eric is what you're really wondering. My old machine brewed a tepid cup on a good day and the latte portion worked when it felt like it, and even then kinda dialed it in (it's in a powerful union - nothing you can do about it). After running several cups of hot water through the machine and then hand-washing what could be washed, I brewed up a latte. I'm a man, I didn't read the instructions. It's not like I'm making a latte on one of those machines that steam your face off on one of those valve pipes. Pretty basic, put the cup in, pull the handle down and using this awesome trick I learned before going to school, I read the buttons. Push here for this type of drink, push here for size, you see where I'm going. I'm happy to say that I'm currently sipping on a hot/very warm latte shot with a beautiful topping of white foamy milk. It feels so much more substantial (i.e., less apt to break - again, I'm a man, not so great with "gentle - unless it meows, then I'm super careful") than my previous maker and the cup of coffee is so much better. It's late here, and I couldn't wait to try it, so I'm actually having a decaf pod that I bought by mistake - which normally tastes like decrap - but this is pretty damn good! Definitely worth the money so far. I'll update if the machine can handle me early in the AM when I'm groggy (because the aforementioned meower wakes me up at the crack of dawn for her morning meal).

Having been in the coffee business since the 90's when coffee houses were the "it" thing in college paired with grunge, I have had my share and experience with all types of coffee and machines. I am a coffee snob, but I have worked in the business for decades, so I respect the bean. Sure I would like a french press coffee or a nice big brewed pot of fantastic beans, but hey, even I get lazy. I have been a fan of Keurig machines for several years and have paired them with coffee from San Francisco Bay Gourmet French Roast and Fog Chaser roasts. Our K-machine finally died and I saw this one. We were wanting to get a Breville One-Touch espresso maker, but that is $1000 in itself and the Special Edition had such great reviews that I had to try it. I LOVE IT!!! It makes a fantastic cup of coffee and the latte and cappuccino option is actually great! I used the San Fran Bay Espresso Blend for my capps and the milk frother actually does a GREAT job! I was pleasantly surprised. Made my wife a caramel cappuccino with the Ghiradelli Caramel and she said it was fantastic. I did have my doubts, but like I said, I was pleasantly surprised and am very happy with this purchase. If you are thinking about getting one to enjoy a cup of coffee or to whip up your own lattes, I would say go for it. For the price of having a Keurig and also a specialty coffee machine in one, this is a great choice to have both!

I cannot yet speak to the reliability of the product, only the ease of use and taste of the coffee. We like robust, full-bodied coffees in our family. For some context, we hate acidity and hate weak coffee even worse. For the first batch, I tried a "blonde" coffee from a sampler K cup pack and I made the horrific mistake of setting it to 8 ounce (the machine even allows users to set a 10 or 12 ounce, but why someone would weaken their coffee this much is anyone's guess). Even though I used the strong setting, the 8 ounce blonde was undrinkable by my standards. It was a hot beverage, yes. But the mild roast was so diluted, it tasted more like water than coffee. After switching to the 6 ounce setting and choosing a dark roast, however (like green mountain or Pete's major dickason's blend), we had a very different experience. It was so full bodied that we didnt even need sweetener or creamer, we could enjoyed it straight or mixed. So after tossing aside the weak K cup mixes, I bought a full batch of Major dickasons and havent looked back. Pros- So fast and easy to use, brews the first cup faster than a drip machine the Frother was GREAT and easy to use and clean (even with almond or skim milk) the dark roasts taste great to us. easily on par with starbucks the coffee is HOT. this makes the latte's or capps a little better cold coffee can be brewed directly into a mug full of ice- it was quite good you can use your own coffee if you purchase a refillable Kcup separately. we have a selection of both whole beans and k cups cons I am terrified about the reliability. Even though we LOVE this machine and would not sell it back for twice the price..., I am leery about how long it will work given the other reviews. I am assuming those are legitimate reviews where folks are losing their machine after a few months Starbucks coffee tastes similar, but comes in a larger size, like 12 or 16 ounces. K -cups will not---- unless, you brew 6 ounces with one k cup- then add another k cup to finish the serving Overall, we love waking up to our dark roast every day. If it does not break down, then it will be one of our favorite Amazon purchases.

I just used my unit for the first time last night. It is very easy and fun to use. But, unless you've had a home latte/cappuccino machine before, I recommend watching a YouTube vid before the first use. This provides a step by step visual instruction of the proper way to do things. I do wish that the housing was metal rather than plastic for a more "upscale" appearance but it is attractive enough. It does NOT come with the My K Cup Universal Reusable filter pod (for use with your own ground coffee) so that must be purchased separately. This is not a cheap unit so I feel this should be included. The My K Cup works great but there is a bit of a learning curve to get the cap to align properly with the base of the pod. I must have done it right because the shot came out ok. If you are making a latte or cappuccino, I recommend using a high grade Espresso bean freshly ground with a burr grinder. I am not a coffee snob and don't even drink it every day but when I do, I want it to taste like it came from a good coffee shop. The Frother is a real time saver as it does all the work for you. I used Skim Milk and had loads of foam for a gorgeous topper. As for longevity, we will see but I am hopeful. Cheers!

This is the best single-cup coffee maker I have ever had. I am so pleased with this and it's durability and features. I have had this machine now for four years and use it multiple times every day. I do regular cleanings with the Keurig solution (about ever 6 months) and this unit has really only had issues three times, all related to use pods that were not made specifically for a Keurig. I have learned that those softer-bodied pods really make a mess so I stick with trusted brands. My husband uses the latte maker the most, I use it occasionally. It works beautifully and froths well. I love the low profile of this, and think I will be gifting one of these to a friend. I love it and hope that Keurig continues to make this version, it's really great to have.
