As far as making coffee as Keurig's do, this machine ranks with the best of them. It heats up rapidly and seems to work a little more quickly than the one it replaced. But, with Keurigs, it's a matter of time and how clear, of pollutants and calcium, is your water. The previous Keurig actually lasted about 7+ years, because we used only filtered water from our refrigerator. Although, I have heard they are worthless, I, also, use the charcoal filters, that fit in the water tank, and change them regularly. The old Keurig went away, because it would turn itself off, when you pushed the button to make a cup of coffee. That told me the electronics were dying, so it was time to get a new one. We really like this one. We hope it lasts. ... show more

Dealbreaker for us was the fact that this coffee maker holds a lot of water. It takes up a little bit more counter space but if that is not an issue, this is a great purchase. It has a handle on the water reservoir to keep it from slipping out of your hands. Coffee temperature is good and brew speed is consistent with a Keurig. Great value for the money. ... show more

Although it has auto off, I would like the option to turn the coffee maker off after use. Other than that, it works perfectly.

We ended up having to replace another Keurig machine (Keurig K-Supreme Plus Coffee Maker). The machine we replaced was a good machine but should have read the reviews. I normally would write a review in a month or two as I want ample time to verify and get a good feel for whatever I purchased. I decided to write the review after about a weeks worth as it has been quite easy to use and not as complex but sometimes the less complex the easier and more durable it is. I have read and reviewed the prior customers who bought similar and I can agree with what they have posted and shared. It is very helpful. Check the measurements as you want to make sure you have the counter space. What is neat about this is for its size it was not as heavy as the prior model I posted. I am guessing with more features comes more weight of components. The larger capacity for the water reservoir tank is great as you can brew a few cups without having to go and refill. Admittedly, I like different features but having seen the burnout that took place with the other, I like that it is very simple and works great. ... show more
