It’s pretty simple to assemble, just sliding the back support into the rails and that’s it. The armrest is about 3” wide and the seat width is about 20” with a depth of 20” as well. It looks a little bit slim but fits me well. I am about 5’8” and the reclining position is perfect for me. It rocks smoothly and quietly. But I can feel a little bit vibrating when swiveling. Another thing I want to mention is that it needs a bit more effort to push and squeeze the legrest to change from reclining position to seating. This chair is surprisingly comfortable! The fabric is nice and soft, the rocking is very peaceful, and there are multiple levels of recline, the deepest of which is almost completely flat. You do need to have a fair amount of space between the back of the chair and the wall in order to recline though. This chair is perfect for a nursery, especially a smaller one. All the kiddos in my house are fighting over this chair! It swivels and turns with ease. It moves with such ease that even the littlest ones can move it. It’s comfy and allows you at relax with ease. Being able to put up your legs is so nice. It’s not just the kids that are anyone it- I’ve found it quite nice to curl up with a book in it. And I’ve found the GSD in it lol.
