At first these speakers sounded meh. There are several little mounting screw holes that let the air move in all the wrong places without getting any bass back pressure. I sealed them with 1/4" foam strip and also sealed the extra little holes in the speaker flange using the speaker trim ring as a sandwich. That helps the bass A LOT!! It worked on 2015 F-150 rear doors and 2015 Fusion all 4 doors. I used the Ford Fusion adapter and sealed them to the door as well. ... show more

Excellent speakers at a great price point. Mine are powered by a 100w RMS x4 channel amp, so they are crisp and clear. No complaints about bass because these speakers are not built for reproducing bass, they are mid-range speakers. Be sure you know the differences before buying speakers of any type.

Had purchased some off brand 6.5” speakers from Napa that cost more than these Kenwoods and sounded like absolute garbage. These speakers are great. They handle power well and mids are highs are perfect. Even bass response isn’t bad given their small size. I would definitely recommend these. Great value for the $ ... show more

The only thing I don't like and all the speakers do this is rate the power (Watts) where it makes it difficult to determine the power at a quick glance. These speakers said they were 320 watts. You then find out that they each speaker is rated at a max power output of 160. So the 320 watts is the sum of both speakers. Then you read farther down and finally find out that the continuous power is 100 Watts at 4 ohms. It would be nice if the description said 100 continuous watts with a peak of 160 watts at 4 ohms. I am replacing 20 year old bookshelf speakers where I need to make sure the amplifier does not melt the voice coil so it is important to know the actual power. It would be nice if they had a chart that showed the actual output power at differing ohms. Most stereos are 4-16 ohms. I know these are described as car speakers but, I am sure car sound buffs would like to know the actual power as well. ... show more
