KFC-1696PS 6-1/2" speakers rock a polypropylene cone with a diamond array pattern, which minimizes distortion, while a rubber surround ensures overall durability. All the musical details are handled by the balanced dome tweeter, and dispersion is improved by Kenwood's proprietary Sound Field Enhancer. Kenwood's Acoustic Sound Harmonizer uses slots on the mount housing the tweeter to improve the transition to the higher frequencies, so you'll experience a smoother sound overall. Grilles are included for custom installations. Produces a smooth and natural sound by controlling woofer sound waves and allowing only certain frequencies to pass through the holes of the tweeter panel. The tweeter height is designed as low as possible, allowing the speakers to easily fit in most factory locations. This unique shape of the tweeter creates strong frontward sound as well as a wider sound field in 5kHz and higher frequencies.
