The media could not be loaded. I used this Kenwood amp to add Bluetooth sourced music from my cell phone to a vintage car, as I did not want to replace original AM radio and minimize how much space it took up. The performance of the aftermarket builds that maintain the original appearance were all weak in power and cost significantly more, so this was a no-brainer for me. Originally I planned to mount this under the passenger seat, though a bump in the floor and very tight space between bottom of the seat and floor, ended up mounting in the trunk over the rear axle. There's a wired remote that I will run from the trunk area where the amp is mounted, under the carpet to a center console to keep it hidden away. Have two 3.5" dash speakers and two 6x9" speakers in the package tray and plan to eventually connect a powered subwoofer that this unit will support as well with the RCA outputs.

I installed this amp. in my motorcycle fairing and added two 6x9 (2 ohm.)Kenwood speakers, amp. puts out more power at 2 ohms. The clarity of this amp. is excellent Initially I wasn't impressed with the bass from this amp and added 2 more Kenwood speakers & pods to my crash bar and connected them to channel 3-4. It cut the power in half, but it had so much power on 2 channels the speakers would distort and didn't add more bass. After having it a while and being under whelmed from lack of bass, I got the idea to use another app. "Bingo", that did the trick. New app. had a equalizer on it, the stock equalizer didn't make much difference. I'm using a Android phone via Bluetooth to amp.

This unit was easy to install, and is MUCH louder than the head unit it replaced. I love that it is 100% waterproof, unlike most “marine” amps. No worries of it getting moisture inside. There are bench tests on YouTube, it tests above its specs, it puts out good power for its size. My only complaint, NO other options for inputs, beyond the Bluetooth. So if I ever upgrade to a nice head unit, I can’t just use this as an amp. But I knew that before ordering. Easy install, love that it has a knob, love that the volume adjustments made on your phone are reflected on the unit and vise versa, love the compact size, and that it’s waterproof. Great for a basic stereo that sounds good!

Wow! I can’t believe how bad this is. Where to start?! To start, I will never buy another Kenwood product. I will always tell people my Kenwood experience with this product, even if they don’t ask I’ll but right in their conversation, interrupting and all of that. The list is long, here goes: -It’s WEAK, 360 watts?! NOPE it’s not as loud as the 200 watt max x 4 Sony head unit it replaced. -The volume knob is HORRIBLE! It increases the sound one click at a time so, it clicks up or down, it’s not a smooth turning knob. What does this mean? It’s either too loud or too low. -The volume knob does NOT respond if you turn it “too fast”. Basically you MUST turn it very slowly click….click….click! -The blue lights on the control panel flash bright blue nonstop until bluetooth is connected. At night it lights up the whole inside roof of the vehicle after blinding you every time it flashes! -Turn it OFF! You can’t turn it off! For almost 400 dollars and there no power button!!! Ignition on - power on,flash, flash, flash… -When it connects to bluetooth it starts playing WHATEVER and it’s a max volume. IT ALWAYS COMES ON AT MAX VOLUME! -IT ALWAYS COMES ON AT MAX VOLUME!!! -Combine the issues above and this is what you get. When you get in the vehicle it connects then starts blaring whatever is in your phone at MAX volume and when you go to turn it down DONT TURN THE KNOB TOO FAST OR IT WONT FN RESPOND! Then when you get out of the vehicle for a minute and come back IT ALL HAPPENS AGAIN!!! -Oh, just remembered sometimes it stops responding via the phone, bluetooth device or control panel. In this case you must stop the vehicle, turn OFF the vehicle then RESTART the vehicle so the unit will restart, reconnect, start blaring whatever at max volume where you’ll have to quickly turn it down but the knob won’t respond cause YOUR TURING IT TOO FAST!!! It’s another junk product that no body at the company who makes it bothered to use for a day otherwise they’d know ITS CRAP! I had high hopes for a product like this so I bought the brand name bluetooth amp, bummer! Some good things. THE LIST IS SHORT! -It’s weak but the sound is clear. -its been weeks now and IT STILL COMES ON! I would end by saying enjoy but you won’t!

As others have stated the volume step is pretty large, it's either too quiet or a little too loud. I just run it loud so its not that big of deal. If the volume was better it would be a 5 star.

Connected this to my Four speakers on my road king I’ve had it for three months now everything turns on connect to Bluetooth but does not play sound anymore. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve checked everything if someone sees this comment please comment on what’s going on? If not, I’m just going to have to buy another amp, but I will not be going with Kenwood.

I replaced a Boss audio unit with this. Polk speakers in the rear and aquatics in the front. 2003 Harley Ultra. All I can say is holy moly, what a difference. Very high quality sound, no breaking down at full volume. This thing cranks. 2 separate amps in it, one for front and one for rear. First thing I noticed was that it was heavy, good sign. Easy install and tuning process. 5 stars for sure!!!!!!!
