It utilizes a 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor with 2.13 million pixels for recording Full HD (1920x1080) video and features a F1.8 lens with a 136-degree field of view (FOV). DRV-A301W features HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology that easily records clear images in dark or well lit settings without underexposing or overexposing the image
- Using its built-in GPS receiver, the DRV-A301W can also display and record the time and GPS position (longitude and latitude) directly onto the recorded video and still image files. You can also have the travel speed stamped on a video file
- DRV-A301W dash camera features a 2.7" LCD screen for live video playback and playback of your recorded video and photos. The 2.7" LCD screen has a resolution of 960 x 240 x RGB. The 2.7" LCD screen also displays time, date, GPS signal, recording status, and other important information. Push-button controls operate Power, Menu, and Record functions
- The DRV-A301W offers two mounting options to secure the dash camera to your windshield. It comes with an adhesive mount and a suction cup mount. Mounting the dashboard camera to the center of the windshield behind the rear-view mirror will facilitate optimal video recording. - DRV-A310W dash camera is powered by the battery of your vehicle using the included cigarette lighter power adapter. The power adapter supports 12V and 24V applications. The cigarette lighter power adapter plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or 12V power port and features an attached 12.5' cable which plugs into the camera's miniUSB port

Bought this as opened box item with scratches. Wow to my surprise the scratches were only on the protection plastic screen film. I peeled it off and brand new no scratches on screen! Who cares if a couple light scratches on plastic. Item is awesome! Plug and play into 12 volt receptacle. Solid construction! To many features to list! Beautiful picture quality. Solid suction cup to install on windshield. Easy removal - magnet style cord into unit, just pulls off. Super easy set up! Thanks a lot for such an awesome product at a great price!

My wife purchased a really cheap dash cam for me after we had an unfortunate incident on the interstate with a truck tire that came loose from an 18 wheeler. Only a few thousand dollars in damages and no one was hurt. But, it would have been nice to have a video for the insurance company. That being said, the cam my wife bought failed within the first year. So, my initial purchase of this brand was at a local big box store. I was so impressed with it that I ordered another one for my second vehicle from Amazon. The one from Amazon cost less than the one I bought locally. I love the features. There is an app for your cell phone that lets you download videos directly from the dash cam without having to remove the memory card. Glad I got them. At this price point, I think this dash cam has all the features of more expensive models.

Really good dadhcam and big improvements over my previous one. It is designed with caps that can handle high temp environments. The only downside is suction cup is undersized and after about a year the windshield side housing cracked and broke, so I ended up repurposing the suction cup from my old dashcam as the ball joint sockets are the same making it direct swap out. The android version of the app can be buggy at times too.

I like the video quality and the product works fine. I dislike that the file size is too large to email even with lower resolution and only one minute video files. Found that it is good if you are uploading straight to YouTube or else you have to remove the SD card and put it in a different reader for the files to be of manageable size.

This Dash cam is too complicated for its own good. It’s a dang camera for crying out loud. I was in an accident and could not even pull up the video and then when I finally did it was all screwed up and it was brand new so now I have to take the accident to court and subpoena witnesses… just this morning I had a guy cut me off and I almost slammed into them and I finally got the app to get the video but it’s like these people do not use their own product. It is so difficult to find the video and then, when you do connect your phone, it’s like a 15 step process to get it back to normal dash cam mode. It is a joke, I highly recommend not getting this at all and it is too late for me to return it because I did not install it in time !! The magnetic charging port is a joke, and it’s stupid that they have a special charger that is unique when you know dang well it should either be a USB or a c type!! This hunk of junk. Also does not show your speed until you revert back and try and find the video. It’s all around a piece of crap.!!! You think since it’s a Kenwood it would be good but it’s absolutely horrible. You’re better off just buying a phone and sticking your phone up on the dash.

The quality is plain amazing, day and night. Easy to install, small and perfect. The only problem is I am having trouble connecting it to my phone so I use an SD card reader & watch everything on my laptop, so no biggie. Anyway VERY impressed. I will be getting a second for my back.

Relatively user friendly device and app compared to my two previous (different brand) comparable dashcams. I like this Kenwood much better! The magnetic attachment is a very nice feature. Quality video, strong suction, perfect strength magnet. Update 01/2023: It takes only about 30 seconds to download a one minute video from the dash cam. I must’ve had cell service issues the first time I downloaded a video. I still love this product for the price. Best bang for the buck
