Bought this as opened box item with scratches. Wow to my surprise the scratches were only on the protection plastic screen film. I peeled it off and brand new no scratches on screen! Who cares if a couple light scratches on plastic. Item is awesome! Plug and play into 12 volt receptacle. Solid construction! To many features to list! Beautiful picture quality. Solid suction cup to install on windshield. Easy removal - magnet style cord into unit, just pulls off. Super easy set up! Thanks a lot for such an awesome product at a great price!

Relatively user friendly device and app compared to my two previous (different brand) comparable dashcams. I like this Kenwood much better! The magnetic attachment is a very nice feature. Quality video, strong suction, perfect strength magnet. Update 01/2023: It takes only about 30 seconds to download a one minute video from the dash cam. I must’ve had cell service issues the first time I downloaded a video. I still love this product for the price. Best bang for the buck

The camera works great but I had to turn off the collision sense due to it constantly thinking there was a collision and it saving the video. Even when I turned the sensitivity way down it would still react to the vibration of my vehicle and save the video. Just an FYI, remove this from your dash if you are parked for a while in warm weather. The camera will not like being overheated and it will not operate properly until it cools down.

I like the video quality and the product works fine. I dislike that the file size is too large to email even with lower resolution and only one minute video files. Found that it is good if you are uploading straight to YouTube or else you have to remove the SD card and put it in a different reader for the files to be of manageable size.

My wife purchased a really cheap dash cam for me after we had an unfortunate incident on the interstate with a truck tire that came loose from an 18 wheeler. Only a few thousand dollars in damages and no one was hurt. But, it would have been nice to have a video for the insurance company. That being said, the cam my wife bought failed within the first year. So, my initial purchase of this brand was at a local big box store. I was so impressed with it that I ordered another one for my second vehicle from Amazon. The one from Amazon cost less than the one I bought locally. I love the features. There is an app for your cell phone that lets you download videos directly from the dash cam without having to remove the memory card. Glad I got them. At this price point, I think this dash cam has all the features of more expensive models.

This Dash cam is too complicated for its own good. It’s a dang camera for crying out loud. I was in an accident and could not even pull up the video and then when I finally did it was all screwed up and it was brand new so now I have to take the accident to court and subpoena witnesses… just this morning I had a guy cut me off and I almost slammed into them and I finally got the app to get the video but it’s like these people do not use their own product. It is so difficult to find the video and then, when you do connect your phone, it’s like a 15 step process to get it back to normal dash cam mode. It is a joke, I highly recommend not getting this at all and it is too late for me to return it because I did not install it in time !! The magnetic charging port is a joke, and it’s stupid that they have a special charger that is unique when you know dang well it should either be a USB or a c type!! This hunk of junk. Also does not show your speed until you revert back and try and find the video. It’s all around a piece of crap.!!! You think since it’s a Kenwood it would be good but it’s absolutely horrible. You’re better off just buying a phone and sticking your phone up on the dash.

The quality is plain amazing, day and night. Easy to install, small and perfect. The only problem is I am having trouble connecting it to my phone so I use an SD card reader & watch everything on my laptop, so no biggie. Anyway VERY impressed. I will be getting a second for my back.

I like the fact that I do not need an app to have this device work. It is very clear for day and night vision. The microphone is clear to pick up a lot more then I was expecting. The GPS is accurate to the speed of the car. Very easy to install, the length of the wires are long enough for a car or truck to make inconspicuous. Not worth $180, but I got mine on sale and it was worth the price I paid.
