  • After 6 years of use, it is still going strong
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this air pump after 6 six years of use. Where I live, there are no full-service gas stations where they check the airs in your tires. And there is maybe one gas station that has an air station you can use to fill up air. Even when I go to a national brand tire retailer to buy and install 2 new tires, they don't even check the other 2 tires. No matter, this air pump flat out works. Granted I only use it for personal use, so I might use it only 4 or 5 times a year, but it has done its job for 6 years now and I have no complaints. I use it in my garage, so I only use it with AC power. I fill my tires up to 40 psi. Thank goodness for this inexpensive air pump. ... show more

  • Must have for your car

Super easy to use. Great price and it has saved me when I had a flat tire. I keep it in my car.

  • Convenient way to feel secure about your tire pressure
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
I am very glad that I got this, so that I could avoid running to various gas stations looking for an air pump that worked. So far, I have only used it with an extension cord in the garage, and naturally it is loud in a confined space, but I was relieved to quickly make sure the tires of both cars had the correct pressure just before a big winter storm, as well as remain mobile prior to repair after getting a leak from a screw in one tire. This is not one of the fancy models where you can set your preferred PSI and let it go, but it does what I wanted it to do, and I feel the price was justified. ... show more

  • Must have for your car
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
I bought this in 2022, and I still have and use this regularly. This is truly a must have for your car. I struggled with leaky tires and tire pressure changing due to big temperature differences and this was such a time saver. No longer do I have to go to a gas station and pay for air - I can do it right in my garage or in the parking lot. It gives me piece of mind too when on long car rides that I have this just in case. ... show more

  • Great Customer Service
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
I bought this compressor about a year ago to leave in my truck for mainly remote 12v DC use through the trucks 12v outlet. I have used it probably 5-6 times in the past year. I have used it on everything from the truck tires, our ATV tires, bike tires, and utility trailer tires. The compressor always worked well. I went to top off the tires on my snowmobile trailer last week using my households 110 v AC power. The pump would not turn on. I doublechecked the compressor on my trucks "DC" power and it turns on and runs fine. It just will not function or even turn on using 110v AC power. Since the unit has a 2 year warranty, I contacted the customer service link attached to my order. I had a reply within 2 days from Haley. I had a replacement compressor at my door in 5 days. I have not used my new compressor yet but I appreciate Kensun's prompt and professional customer service. I originally purchased this compressor based on the AC/DC features, the pumps overall solid customer reviews, and a competitive price point. The fact that Kensun stands behind their product warranty means a lot these days. I would recommend and purchase future Kensun products for that reason alone. ... show more

  • A Handy Tool - For Safety Reasons
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
Physics 101: I live in western New York and our winters are cold. So, even if you keep your tires properly inflated in the summer months, when the colder temps hit, you'll find that your tire pressures are dropping as a result of the cold. Its simple physics - the molecules of air inside the tire contract in colder ambient temperatures. That's also why the air pressure in your tires increases as you drive the car - the movement of the rubber creates heat that in turn expands the air inside the tire. Why you need this device: You really need to keep your tires properly inflated for safety and life-of-the tire reasons. The problem for most folks is that they don't know their tires are under inflated, and they don't have an easy way to add air to tires in their garage or on the road. Yes, you can go to a gas station and pay for some air (if you can find one with an air pump), but most folks can't be bothered. Big mistake. All car makers and tire manufacturers caution you to keep your tires properly inflated (under-inflation can seriously alter the handling performance of your vehicle). Even 2-3 pounds of under inflation can pose a safety risk. The tires on my Volvo are supposed to be kept at 35 PSI (measured cold, before driving the car in the morning). I noticed that every winter, my tire pressures were dropping to 31-32 PSI. The tires didn't look any different, but they were under-inflated. So, this little air pump serves a very important role at my house. I measure the tire pressures when the temperatures drop, and then use this device to pump up under inflated tires. Look for a sticker pasted on the front door frame of your car (or in your owner's manual) - it should tell you the recommended PSI for the tires. NOTE: Be sure to check PSI before you drive (when the tires have been sitting) - this is the only way to get an accurate PSI reading. This Kensun unit works great. You can plug it into an AC wall outlet, or into your cigarette lighter if you're on the road. It is part of my 'road kit' in the trunk, so it is always ready when I need it. ... show more

  • Worked fine for 5 yrs
Size: 11.8 x 4.3 x 6.7 inches
The good... you can run it from an outlet or from the car's 12V outlet; it's much quieter than most portable air compressors. The bad... failed after 5 years of light use. I would expect a pump that costs this much to last 10+ years under light usage.
