Very Good Machine: Excellent customer service
The AC function stopped working after two days. I emailed customer service and 4 days later I had a new one sitting on my doorstep. The inflator works great and handles my car and truck (F 150) tires equally well. I like having both AC and DC capabilities and the gauge does indeed work to within 1.5 PSI which is good for this type inflator. As far as noise I would not say it is quiet, but the noise level is very tolerable especially compared to an old inflator I used to own. It is fast enough unless you are starting from zero. I was able to top off four car tires in under 10 minutes (about 6PSI each). One small drawback with this model is that the inflator hose and AC cord are packed in the same cubby which means you probably need to unpack both even when using the DC function. Great little pump!
So far I’ve used the DC (car plug-in) 6 times for a slow leak in my tire and the pump has been excellent. Pros: I like being able to put in the target psi and pushing the button and letting it do it’s thing. The pump shuts off automatically when it reaches the target. I’ve used the flashlight function once at night and it is adequate for unscrewing and screwing the cap onto my tire. The digital screen is backlit too. The pump is quieter than my dad’s old one from the 90s or any stand alone gas station air pumps and works faster. I like the zippered carrying case it comes with and the DC cord fits tightly into a compartment on the side of the pump. Cons: The pump is still noisy. I’m not sure I can really complain about this though, for a portable air pump it’s not bad. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and keep it in my car at all times. ... show more

Does the job
Compressor has AD/DC connection, no Angus Young. It's pretty easy to use. Hook it up to your tire. It will show the PSI level (more to that later). Press the up or down to mark how much PSI you want to pump. If you use a AC connection, just press the AC button and DC, DC button. It will start pumping to the level you had it marked. Here's the thing. Get an accurate tire gauge. This thing is off like 5-10 PSI. I should know because I tested it with other gauges. Also this thing could have a longer hose. The hose is like 5 inches long which is just enough to hook up to your tire, but when you have to extend the power cable to it's max length and you have only 5 inches of this hose to spare, it renders it difficult to use. Works great!
I have an air pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter on the car but it takes quite a while to fill a low tire and does not shut off automatically so you have to monitor it and turn if off when the pressure gauge reaches the desired level. When I had to do that in 5° F winter weather I decided I wanted a pump that will operate on AC and has automatic shutoff, if for no other reason so I can sit in the car with the windows closed while waiting for the tire to fill. I used this unit for the first time today and it worked great. I was pleasantly surprised that the AC cord that plugs into the wall outlet is 3 meters (10 ft) long, not the 1 meter (3 ft) described on Amazon. I had to set the auto shutoff two lbs higher to reach the desired level (e.g. set it to 35 pounds to shut off at 33 pounds) but that's no big deal once you know the adjustment. Completely useless! Will not screw on to valve stem.
I had a Viar portable pump that I loved with the same screw-on connection to the valve stem. It worked perfectly over a period of years. This connector is too small, there is not enough length or outside diameter to allow any purchase. I just made ten attempts to connect it, and although it would screw on for a few turns, apparently that was not enough as no air pressure was added to tire after running for several minutes. I had to turn the target pressure up because otherwise the unit shut off as soon as it started. I should have know better! the thing is very cheap and lightweight, you will never get the cords back into the little pockets they provide for them (and the dc cord with the lighter adapter is too short) I threw away the packaging before I tested it and now I am stuck with it. So far, so good. Easy to use.
Easy instructions, done in less than 10 minutes. Both AC and DC cords hard to replace in case after use. Maybe needs a little more storage room or more flexible cords? Could also use a battery cable to lighter jack power converter. Does include a bayonet extension hose, very convenient, but didn't realize unit comes with it. Will re-read directions , haven't found directions to register warranty, either. ... show more

CONVENIENT, COMPACT & EASY TO USE
The Kensun Tire Inflator Pump design and size make it convenient and easy to use. The 110V wall plug is convenient for checking and inflating all 4 tires on a regular basis, although I must use an extension cord considering the location of my garage outlets. The 12V car cigarette lighter plug is long enough to reach each tire on my Toyota Avalon and would be handy on a road trip. Inflating tires from 27 psi to 35 psi took less than 2 minutes. A Tire Inflator Pump Hose Adapter for Twist On Convert to Lock On Connection was included although it wasn't listed in the product details. ... show more

I love it
The first one I bought from Walmart was cracked on the bottom so I sent it back and got a refund. They did not have any more left to buy so I had to get it on Amazon and I paid a lot more.
