The AC function stopped working after two days. I emailed customer service and 4 days later I had a new one sitting on my doorstep. The inflator works great and handles my car and truck (F 150) tires equally well. I like having both AC and DC capabilities and the gauge does indeed work to within 1.5 PSI which is good for this type inflator. As far as noise I would not say it is quiet, but the noise level is very tolerable especially compared to an old inflator I used to own. It is fast enough unless you are starting from zero. I was able to top off four car tires in under 10 minutes (about 6PSI each). One small drawback with this model is that the inflator hose and AC cord are packed in the same cubby which means you probably need to unpack both even when using the DC function. This was a very good purchase and made my life easier when the tire pressure light on our cars was on. But it just shorted out on me and broke after two years of use. Wish it had lasted longer.

    • Easy to use portable air compressor
Loved the features, including the ability to digitally set the desired air pressure. The unit runs until the desired pressure is reached, then shuts off. Seems to be accurate. I tried both the 110 V cord, and the 12V cord which plugs into the car cigarette lighter. Both worked fine. My only complaint, although a minor one, is that the compartments for storage of the cords is too small - you have to really jam the cords in. That said, I think this unit is great, and would definitely recommend it. No more trips to the gas station to fill up the tires!! ... show more

The first one I bought from Walmart was cracked on the bottom so I sent it back and got a refund. They did not have any more left to buy so I had to get it on Amazon and I paid a lot more. It works great. I love the digital display and the automatic turn off feature. It is so easy to use and it reaches all 4 tires. ... show more

    • Works as advertised
The unit worked as advertised. One note, when using the screw on attachment to the tire stem, removal of the hose results in some air loss as the hose is unscrewed. To deal with this suggest you add a pound or two of PSI over the desired pressure to account for the loss of air on removal. The hose could be alittle longer however the unit is light enough to be held by the handle while it pumps, so it doesn't have to be sitting on the ground during operation. I only topped of tire pressures so added about 4-5 PSI per tire. Took maybe 15-20 seconds per tire to reach the desired pressures. I used AC power. Several of the pictures indicate a three prong AC plug, but this unit comes with a two prong. I also note that the Pump came with a clamp style attachment for the hose, however the clamp head seemed to be plastic and I wasn't sure if it was meant for car tires or only bikes.
