It's very flimsy, the paper shade is much thinner and weaker than I thought it would be, compared to similar lamps we have. This was my second time buying this lamp. The first one had a bulb socket that did not work. Returned that one and got another, the base abs poles do not fit together. So fed up, I just decided kept this one. Would not recommend πŸ‘ŽπŸ½

Just what we wanted. Nice lamps, easy to put together. Uses 100 watt bulbs. So the light you get will depend on the type & strength of bulb you purchase. Bright or soft.

Well it was hard to put together as the shade kept leaning to one side or another,. It isn't as sturdy as I was expecting but it does the job.
