  • Purchased for my car, ended up with my tv
I love this soundbar!! I bought it planning on installing inside my car but quickly realized I wanted to use it with my tv instead since the audio was so much better. I hooked it up to a 12 volt power supply so it could plug into the house and used it nonstop! The RGB is able to turn off with the upper right button on the remote, but I wish that it would remember to keep it off every time it turns on. I like that it has rgb and it looks really nice and with lots of cool modes but I don't always want it on and I wish it would just remember to keep it off. The back rgb strip can just be unplugged so that it's not always on but the front needs to be turned off every single time. It gets very loud and has some slight bass, but most of the focus is on the mid and treble which makes perfect sense for a speaker meant to be used semi-outdoors and it does a great job of enhancing the frequencies that allow voices to be heard more clearly. This would be important while driving with wind noise in order to hear it better. It comes with some nice strong mounts and the whole thing is hefty and built out of metal. I love the built quality and the thick wires as it always is a great feeling throwing a quality hefty piece of technology around. Not only would I recommend this for any sort of atv or golf cart, but if you arent that techy and want something easier to throw in the backseat of a cart for some good audio in a really old car this thing is perfect! Just connect Bluetooth and plug her in and it's an instant upgrade! ... show more

  • Awesome sound bar
This is a really great sound bar for a golf cart. It was easy to install on the roof support and run the wires down the windshield frame. It pairs easily with your phone via bluetooth and the sound is great. The lights are pretty awesome too. It had every connection you could possibly use to install it and use it with your phone. We really like it. ... show more

  • Only for ATV's
So I thought I would be clever and get this sound bar and use it with my TV. Sadly, that is not possible. And it is not a Bluetooth sound bar.

  • Unimpressive output and ridiculously exaggerated specs.
400 watts. That's what it says. Right in the description. Max, yes, but I should be able to see that somewhere in a real-world test. Right? Wrong. If you're thinking of buying this because it advertises "400 watts max" and are thinking, ok, then probably 200 RMS, right? Wrong again. More like 15 watts rms. 25 watts peak. I connected this to my benchtop power supply, which, among other things, does data logging. I can literally sit and watch the amperage draw rise and fall while playing a music track. The image I've provided shows the current draw of this speaker hooked up to my power supply, which was set at 12.0 volts and I gave it a ceiling of 10.0A (which would have given a max of 120 watts available, far less than the 400 advertised). My power supply will deliver up to 300 watts, but I wanted to see if it ran into the current ceiling I set. It didn't. It didn't even come CLOSE. I could have set the current to 3 amps and it would have been plenty. If you take a close look at that graph, you'll see some random current draw (that's a Mint commercial on YouTube playing), then you'll see a pause, this is the lull between the Mint commercial and the song I played, and then you'll see more random current draw. This is "Metallica: Seek and Destroy" being played at maximum volume on my phone and maximum volume on this speaker. The yellow line is the voltage (seen on the right of the graph) and the blue squiggly line is current draw, indicated on the right. At no time does the current draw go above 2 amps. In fact, playing "Queen: Somebody to Love" it actually reached a peak of 2 amps, touching briefly a 24-25 watt peak output. That's right. I said 24 watts PEAK. Not 400 watts peak. 24 watts peak. Average power was in the 15 watt neighborhood at max volume. So, basically, Kemimoto is lying about the specs of this speaker. As someone who's a bit of an audiophile, I take these things rather seriously. And as someone who's worked in the electronics industry, I know specs are absolutely known at the time the circuit is diagramed into existence and components are chosen. I'm flat out saying Kemimoto KNOWS this is a 25 watt max speaker, and they're telling you it's 400 watts max. There's no way they DON'T know the actual power output of this speaker, because their R&D department TOLD them what the power consumption was. It was printed on the proposed build sheet. Then they told marketing "List it as 400 watts. There's no law saying we can't." Except the law of someone actually checking. That law is immutable. And I checked. And they're lying. And, the actual sound output is representative of a 25 watt max speaker. As in, don't put this on anything with a gasoline engine and expect to hear it. On a nice, quiet electric golf cart? You'll probably be ok with this. On a RZR? Forget it. Advertised HONESTLY? As a 25 watt max speaker? I would have given it 4 stars. Even at 25 watts, the output isn't what I would call "stellar". More like "mediocre". So, a 4 star speaker gets an unfortunate -2 stars for flat-out lying in the specs. To the tune of overstating the max power 16 TIMES!!! 25x16=400!!! You don't just get to lie like that, not here, and not with me around. If you're looking for a 25 watt max speaker for nice, quiet vehicles? This is a 4 star speaker, and should work nicely on your golf cart. If you're looking for a 400 watt max speaker for, say, your noisy RZR? This is a 2 star speaker with terrible output and ridiculously inflated specs. Manufacturers: STATE YOUR PRODUCT SPECS EXACTLY. Lying is uncountenanced and unforgivable. ... show more
