The bed is nice. The grandkids love it when the sleep over. The problem was the 6 plus hours of hell building it!!! It was horrible to build. No words in the instruction just crappy pictures. I am very mechanical and work with my hands so I know it wasn't me. I can say once you get through the torture of putting it together its a pretty nice bed and its sturdy. I would recommend paying to have someone build it for you, it would be well worth it.

I am beyond frustrated with this Murphy bed. The design is flawed and it honestly feels unsafe to use. The legs at the foot of the bed slip out every single time I try to lay down. The base cannot support normal body weight — it caves in, causing the wooden panels to shift and become misaligned. I’ve had to completely unscrew and reassemble parts just to fix it, only for the exact same issues to happen again. Yes, it looks nice once assembled, but that means nothing if it can’t function properly. The structure is weak, unstable, and clearly made with very low-quality materials. The lower price compared to other Murphy beds now makes sense — you get what you pay for. At this point I would return it, but the thought of fully disassembling this entire unstable setup again just to send it back is a complete hassle. It should not be this difficult to own a bed that simply holds weight like it’s supposed to. Buyers should seriously reconsider before purchasing.

The wood pieces, which there art many were not marked, as the directions stated. You must pay extremely close to the very poor directions, as what should go on the right side will fit on the left, except the pre drilled holes are in the wrong place. For the price, the build quality, sturdiness and looks are good. Because of unmarked pieces and very poor directions, it took longer to put together than it should have. I did have to disassemble and reassemble several times.

For the price of this Murphy bed, you can’t beat it! However, it did take eight hours to put together with two people and nearly called a divorce! Haha. Just kidding! Some of the pieces didn’t lineup, some of the instructions were backwards. Thankfully, my husband knew how to navigate through it. I am very pleased with the overall product. It’s a queen and fits our mattress perfectly!

Was pretty easy to set up my husband did it in about 5 hours only help he needed was to place it upright and connect it to the wall. However we had build one before but not this particular one. It looks good and seems sturdy I do wish you couldn't see the bolts but that's just me because it doesn't look bad.

Do not purchase this bed. The video in between frame 1:12 and 1:26 of the setup. Its switch to a different frame. Where the hydraulic parts are put on and you can figure it out. Because it's a third party from overseas. You can't get no online or phone support. Do Not Purchase this murphy bed!
