So the light in our fridge went out. I saw these and ordered them. They look cool. They are sort of expensive but all these types of bulb are. I spent an hour with everything out on the counter from the fridge while I tried to get the cover off the bulb. They have hidden screws holding it on...I had to use mirrors. Finally got it off. So there was no bulb showing as it had disintegrated... the base was stuck in the holder but I got it out. Wouldn't you know it, the bulb had a smaller base...E12 size. I ordered again. I will still keep these bulbs as they are well made and I like the 'corn cob' design. I may be able to get an adapter to use this larger base. If these will fit your fridge, I highly recommend them. ... show more

The Subzero refrigerator in the house we bought last year had 3 out of 4 incandescent bulbs out in the refrigerator section. When we had a serviceman here for an unrelated issue he wanted $80 to replacement while he was here. No thanks! The led corn cob bulbs here worked out great! They really light up the interior very well and of course give off a whole lot less heat when on than the originals. The color is perfect for this application. Would buy again. ... show more

These YKWCW E17 LED bulbs are a solid pick for replacing fridge and freezer lights. They’re energy-efficient and give off a nice, cool white light. Just note, they might not be as bright as your old incandescent bulbs. What I Liked: Energy Savings: These bulbs use just 4 watts but provide light similar to a 40-watt incandescent bulb, which is great for saving energy. Cool Light: They cast a bright, cool white light that makes it easy to see everything inside my fridge. Versatile Use: They’re not just for fridges—they work in microwaves, range hoods, and other appliances too. What I Didn’t Like: Not Super Bright: They’re a bit dimmer compared to my old incandescent bulbs, so if you need very bright light, these might not be enough. Fit Check: Make sure your appliance has an E17 base before buying, as some appliances use a different size. These bulbs are a good choice if you want to switch to LED lighting.
