Dry-Lex footwear lining with hydrophobic/hydrophilic 2-zone comfort technology. Reflective webbing for additional safety. Keen.Key-Tech is a full-length TPU stability plate that provides forefoot flexibility and underfoot stability to meet the demands of the workplace environment. Oil and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole. Unique anatomically-correct steel-toe design provides a roomier toe box and maximum comfort. ASTM F2412-05 and F2413-05 I/75 and C/75 standards. Likes: Best boot I've had that needs minimal break-in time. Lightweight! I'm on my 5th pair. Dislikes: They last 1 - 1 1/2 years. The sole usually wears out in spots and develops a hole (don't step in puddles!). Wishlist: Make a custom ordering option. Eg. my left foot is a little wider than my right foot. It would be great to order 2-different sizes for left/right foot. My latest pair (in black) is taking longer than normal to break-in (ordered directly from Keen a month ago). My 3rd & 4th toes on my left foot are rubbing on the top of the boot's sewing seams. Not fun. I'm hoping the boot will stretch a bit soon to prevent this chafing! I've had two previous pair of these boots and although I have 4 or 5 different footwear all the time I primarily change between these and Converse Allstars while doing my lawn care business 3 seasons a year. The last pair lasted for 5+ yrs before the sole delaminated too much for me to reglue. I also hike and wrangle firewood wearing these. Kinda heavy, but a great 3 season boot. In winter I switch out of a steel toe and into a Sorrel here in MT ... show more

Nice boots, the only thing is they won't always have your size available in the "Try before you buy" section, so if you wanna try you have to purchase the size you need and if they don't fit right, just return them, that's where I'm at with this purchase and I'm being told I have to wa it 5-6 weeks before I get my refund. I bought these keens tad bit after some Ariat Turbo's of bout the same comparison (lace up 6"). With this Keen, I had to order 1/2 size bigger and a wide to accommodate the steel toe and I'm glad I did that cause they fit perfect. These had no breakin at all where my Ariats did. Even though my Ariats are just as comfortable now I do favor the Keens a bit more. I rotate between the two for work so to keep my shoes aired out due to my feet sweating a bunch. Keen's are a tad heavier than the Ariat's. I like both my Ariat Turbo's and Keen Pittsburg's for someone that is on their feet good part of the day. ... show more
