Make sure you pick up a cheap electric pump or one that can plug into your car in case you can't find an outlet at the pool or beach. They're great to have on hand anyhow and you can get them for under 10 bucks. This gets all the attention at the pool. Honestly it can get a little annoying bc I end up feeling bad when I have to start telling kids no lol. If you go to the pool or beach with your kids PLEASE bring them a float, water gun, this thing, at least SOMETHING (yes even teens) bc they constantly want everyone else's stuff. Anyhow this thing is made so well. My grandson who will soon be 5 yrs old and my granddaughter who will be 7 yrs old next month both fit on it with no problem! I bet it could hold your averaged size 10-12yr old with no problem. I guess the only thing that might be wrong with it for some people is it doesn't shoot a lot of water at once and the water doesn't go super far. I'm actually happy with how it shoots the water bc it makes it more public pool and public beach friendly. I'm sure a lot of people would complain if they had a gallon of water shot at them lol. I'm very happy with the quality and design and most importantly my grandkids love it! I wanted to love it but… it is difficult to balance, definitely not a good item for weak swimmers, and the water supply hose kept getting pulled out when trying to aim. The kids are loving this super soaker float. My only disappointment is the kids can easily pull the water gun out so you need a small pvc pipe to insert in the hole, then thread the water tube down to get it back in. Then, pull out the pvc tube. The kids are even using the water gun in the pool without the float. You must have patience to put the water gun back into the float quite often. My husband was so smart to cut a pvc tube to use for this task. ... show more

Wore out and end up with a tear along the seam very quickly, within 2 weeks and we weren't even using it daily. It is tricky to get the water gun back in while fully inflated. Kiddo loved it while it worked.

My granddaughters have had a blast with these. They love to jump on them from edge of pool. Would not recommend for heavier children or adults as the floats cannot hold the weight. Lots of fun for kids up to approximately 40 pounds.

It did not stand up to the grandkid test. It is not easy to get on from in the water, the squirter needs two hands to operate. The grandsons got on and then got quickly off. I was disappointed as I hoped it would be a pool party hit but it was a dud.

Pretty cool float. The sprayer gun thing is still working. Hard plastic (gun) the tube attached has to be shoved thru hole in float, which hangs into water. It works. Comes out if it's tugged on.
