KEEN.ReGEN midsole cushioning offers 50% energy return with every step, and non-metallic, carbon-fiber toes. Weighing 22.6 oz / 542 g (per boot) and featuring a moisture-wicking lining, these water-resistant work boots for men are built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. I’m not a fan of steel toe or composite toe boots. However my employer is Adamant for the requirement. So I got these with the composite toe. The boots are light weight and breath like your summer combat boots. They’re comfortable to walk in. They have wide sizes for people like me. Light weight, not bulky. I hiked 20 miles in these so far. The build of the soles and toe box remind me of my Whites firefighter boots. This is a 500. Dollar boot so definitely a compliment, Way to go Keen!

These are great. I bought these because I was tired of my feet swimming in the regular construction-type boots during the summer. They are very comfortable and highly breathable. You sacrifice ankle stability for mobility, which for my summer work is just fine. The only gripe I have is that after hours of wear you feel it in your soles. The good- I liked the Keen version of olive green. The bad- I felt every seam, crease, the safety cap, even the lumps under the insole. The boots were designed off balance, so they slip forward every time you raise your foot. They felt awkward after a few minutes of gentle walking. Oh, and if you don't enjoy tying your boots laced high, forget it- that "fold down" feature wasn't accounted for when they chose where to place the lace eyelets, so the fold is in a weird spot that makes everything look funny. Not flattering, not comfortable. Feet were hot and sweaty too, with lightweight merino low crew socks. Returned. ... show more

they have the air vents too low and they take on water easy so you will get wet feet.
