I tried out several different cases from other popular case manufacturers but none of them checked as many boxes for me as this one did. If you're looking for a case that protects your phone while maintaining a slim design, I would highly recommend giving this one a try. Pros: -Phone feels protected from drops. -Maintains phone's slim design. -Although not quite rubbery, it has enough grip not to feel slippery. -Matte finish looks great. -Minimal branding. -Lightning port and speakers are easily accessible. -Volume and power buttons are protected and accessible. -Great all around lip protection for screen. Cons: - Case is not easy to remove. If you're one to switch cases often, you might want to look for something else. - I wish the camera lip was a little higher but the camera lenses are tough enough that the case should protect it just fine. - The case will show minimal scratches and fingerprints from daily use but you really have to look for them. ... show more

The hole for the camera wasn’t cut properly so it didn’t line up properly and the case kept coming apart. I finally cut the hole bigger so I would have some kind of case as I was leaving on a trip the next day and couldn’t replace it in time. Horrible waste of money. In the meantime, my device is perfectly protected from multiple drops and impacts, except for one time when the liquid crystal was destroyed by falling in front of the liquid crystal and was compensated by smartphone insurance. Speck has a pretty good line of cases. I would usually go for the Grip style, but this time I didn't want something that was bulky. I chose this black (matte I believe) case that's very sleek looking compared to the Grip one that Speck has. I've used Speck cases for my last 4 phone, each being a previous iPhone model.
