These are really comfortable work boots. Ithey did not take much breaking in and look and feel great, they have a flexible portion above the toes so if you are leaning down with your toes on the ground and your heels off the ground the boot flexes nicely. I have to go through metal detectors at work daily and these boots do not set the metal detector off so that is a huge bonus not having to remove them. I have not worn them in the mud or rain, so i will update if necessary. But they are good on ladders and commercial roofs, they are not slippery at all. ... show more

Got the boots the other day. They fit perfectly and are advertised. Comfortable, lightweight, breathable, and weather resistant. Great grip for lots of conditions and hardly need any break-in time.

So it's 5 star but 4 because I haven't gotten them wet to test the waterproofing. But day 1 like walking on clouds. Comfortable, hardly tell it has carbon fiber toe. They are comfortable and waterproof, but the most bothersome part is when I walk the boots squeak no matter what surface it is on. It wasnt like that right away but got them. Broke in and now they squeak on anything, carpet, hard floors, rugs, ect. I believe it is an internal thing.
