Waterproof and breathable, KEEN Utility's Lansing Mid Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boots for men were designed for all-day comfort, support, and stability on the job. Reflective safety features run the entire length of the shoe for added visibility. Asymmetrical steel toes improve the fit, and a TPU stability shank adds support. A slip- and oil-resistant sole amp up the safety factor. Weighing 23.15 oz / 656 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining. This boot is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. Need to change out your insoles for orthotic or comfort reasons? No problem – KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. This dependable work boot is great for medium-duty work in construction, landscaping, warehouse distribution and transportation work. All KEEN Utility products use a natural, probiotic-based technology called CleansportNXT for breaking down odor in sweat; while also sourcing leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). KEEN Utility believes in creating work boots that make work and life better. Ive worn these - as a general contractor - pretty much all day mon-sat for the past 6 months and these are still in great shape, and they have seen some abuse... kicking the odd board stuck with an annoying nail during demo, setting heavy crap right on the toe to set down carefully etc. I moved someone in pouring rain down a muddy hill, but still had traction and my feet remained completely dry. Cant say the same for the other guys moving, though. Reasonably comfortable, not quite as comfortable as wearing sneakers all day, but thats to be expected with any boot with a solid sole, and being heavier and steel toed. These are very good boots. There was a short break-in period (2-3 days) but overall they are an excellent product. I'm on my feet for 15-18 hrs a day in all kinds of weather and having these boots has made a significant difference in my level of fatigue at the end of the day. I do commercial HVAC for a living. I used to buy Redwings but these are 1/3 of the cost. The RW boots would last me a year and these last about 6-8 mo. So… money ahead. These are lighter with a better designed toe box.

These are becoming my all time favorite work boots. I’ve tried many different premium brands over the course of 35 years and these rank at the top of that list for comfort. Can’t speak for durability over time but they appear well made enough to last the full year I usually replace with new.
