They come with the comfort that you expect from Keen. Flexible. No uncomfortable break-in period. Wide sole is actually WIDE and fits better than any other brand I've tried. Breathable and cool. Easy to slip on and tie with their speed laces. I'd recommend to anyone who needs wide platform boots.

Great boot but as with all KEEN, size up by half. He's a 10 1/2 & we always have to get his KEEN's in an 11. If you've never worn KEEN, it's the comfort of a sneaker with the specs of a work boot. The Flint's have a steel tip, slip resistant bottom. Uppers are a suede like finish that surround your foot with vents. The vents are the first thing to show wear but his usually take about a year and he's on a jobsite 5-6 days a week. The inside is cushioned around the ankle and cradles the foot. After a few months when they settle in, we replace the insoles with the Dr Scholls custom orthotics. Get fitted on the machine at Walmart by the pharmacy. So worth it for back aches. The soles are solid like cement so not shock absorbing. Need a good insole but, a bullet won't make it thru this soles. This is a mid ankle height. He wears boots with his Blaklader pants when his Keen shoes will show. They provide good ankle support without being restrictive while, maintaining a comfort cushion. This has gotta be his 4th or 5th pair of KEEN boots. Started purchasing on Amazon when we realized we could get them for under a hundred if, you add them to cart and check for price drop over the course of a couple weeks. Yeah, it takes some time but got this pair for almost half the original cart price since, he usually knows about a month out when they are going to need to be replaced. Really a good shoe. He won't even entertain wearing anything else for work.

Other than merrell this brand of work shoe/boot may be the most comfortable and durable of all.size to fit perfectly not sure about waterproofing haven't tested that yet.if u need ankle support a must buy

These steel toe boots are absolutely perfect in every way. Let me start with my biggest unsolvable issue I've always had with steel toes; they are basically fitted for an elf. Pointy uncomfortable rub you in all the worst places boots. Even wide steel toe boots have a very narrow toe cap and never fit my wide feet where my pinky toe is only slightly farther back than my big toe. A lot of guys have pointy elf feet and normal boots work fine for them. For me this isnt the case. I have never found one that fit correctly where I could kick something really hard without injuring or breaking my pinky toe on the steel cap. I also almost always get blistering and what not on this toe for that same reason. These Boots are entirely different. There is the perfect amount of room in the toes and the toe cap has an extremely broad front which accommodates my feet perfectly. On top of this perfect fit, these boots are comfortable. The factory insoles they come with are trash as they are with every boot I've ever bought but simply discard those and throw in your favorite insoles. The soles flex very nicely with your stride. Ive only owned these 2 days but I can already tell I will be purchasing many more. I tried the shoe version of these as well as versions other than the flint but I find the flint mid to be perfect. With steel toe shoes you have to tie them to tightly to get them to not slide around these can stay looser and yet tight at the same time. A lot of guys at the shop have commented that they like them and a couple have also notices the incredibly wide toe cap because of their own issues similar to mine. These feel more like something I would go hiking in. No steel toe has ever felt like that to me.

Nice, comfortable work boots for everyday wear. Is true to size, very little or no breakin period. The insole took sometime to get used to. The boot is a little stiff but not to the point of irritation. There is no indication of being waterproof but can’t recall any leakage.I wish I had known about these boots before I got hooked on Timberland boots. Decent boots for the price!
