  • Great all around boots
Size: 14 Wide Color: Dark Chocolate/Sandshell
I've been to the very few stores who sell boots to try on and with the exception of a few, most boots are cheap and they skimp out on the number of lace holes and other necessary components. I've ordered several other brands of boots which fit horribly but were reviewed very highly only to send them back. This is my 2nd pair of keen Cincinnati boots. I'm 6'4 300 with arthritis in my knees and bought the soft toe boot last time and wore the uppers out in about 8 months. This time I opted for the comp toe which I usually can't stand, but it's very un-noticable and I can feel a difference in support in the uppers. I would say these boots are comparable to higher end boots that I've owned. I tear though boots, so for me , just shy of a year for an actual work boot that I beat the snot out of is good. I'd recommend these for anyone on a budget. They fit true too size, the tread doesn't soften on hot asphalt. ... show more

  • Comfortable work boot but doesn't last long
Size: 13 Color: Belgian/Sandshell
I wear these boots five days a week. I work outside and concrete mostly. These boots are SO comfortable and fit great. I've owned this boot twice. The most recent time purchasing in mid January 2023. It is October 2023 and these boots are already falling apart as the sole has worn through. I wish Keen made these boots with the ability to be resoled but they cannot: I called Keen to ask and they said they could not. So these boots go less than a year on them and now I have to toss them. It is a waste. I'm moving onto a different company. While these are the most comfortable work boots I've ever had, their durability and longevity is lacking. If you are going to wear these here and there for work projects they may work for you but if you need something that is going to last and hold up to daily wear I'd think twice. ... show more

  • A bit bigger than expected
Size: 15 Wide Color: Tuscan Red/Sandshell
This is a very comfortable boot. Keen still delivers. My particular size (15 wide) however is a bit roomy. Not so much that my foot slides around, but thicker socks and an insole are necessary.

  • Heaven for your feet
Size: 13 Color: Belgian/Sandshell
The media could not be loaded. I switched to keen louisville work boots about 2011. Prior to that I had worn red wings. Lately, I had developed some pain in my left foot that I couldn’t explain. The size 13 louisville boots had always been slightly too big, but the 12’s too small. I still don’t know why the pain started but I added the keen high arch insoles, then a medical grade insole..no improvement. I was looking for anything to help and noticed these keen cincinnati’s. in real life cinchona is just across the river from louisville, but in boot world these cincinnati’s are light years better than the louisvilles. I first noticed the weight reduction, then the fact that they are stretch laces but only one speed eyelet. I am still not a fan of the white soles, but trust me the way they feel you would wear bright purple boots if you had too. The Cincinnati’s run a little smaller than other keen utility boots which was music to my ears. Previously I had always just work two pairs of socks with my Louisville’s. so another side benefit is a lot less laundry. You can see from my pictures how the Cincinnati is a larger, taller boot on the outside, but i can assure you the foot bed is smaller. I was worried with only one speed loop I would not be able to get the boots tight, but that is where the stretch laces come in. They are neither hard to get off or hard to get on, the laces accommodate a good deal of movement. I have always thought boots without 2-3 speed loops boots (more if taller boots) would be hard to get on or off. But someone at keen has figured out how. This also is a good thing because anyone familiar with keen boots knows that the lacing hooks are notoriously bad for breaking laces. I stock keen laces because I have broken so many over the years. I could go on about the comfort, believe me, there is a world of difference. the composite toe is very functional and also something you forget is there - unlike cheap work boots there is no sacrifice in comfort for greater protection. I bought my first pair on try before you buy because I was skeptical. After wearing them for one day (btw, no break in period required), I came home and ordered a second pair. I am a big believer in rotating your shoes and boots. Giving them a day off extends their useful life as well as allows the boot to dry and the foot bed to recover. I am happy as I can be with these boots, and I hope you will be too. ... show more

  • Most comfortable work boot bar none!
Size: 11.5 Color: Dark Chocolate/Sandshell
I’m so thankful I came act this boot! They are the most comfortable safety toe boot I’ve ever worn… and believe me I’ve tried the rest. This is the first work boot that I haven’t had to use inserts to make wearing them bearable! Good job Keen!

  • Order a little bigger than you think
Size: 11.5 Color: Belgian/Sandshell
So far, the boots are just okay. The site said to oder 1/2 size larger. I did, and it was the right call. These fit well enough but the seam on the toungue is painful. I have had to fold the tongue over just to make it through my shifts. I walk 10k+ steps per shift so this has been rough. For the money they are a good value. However, until I figure out how to fix the tounge thing, I cannot recommend them unless you sit at a desk or they are just for fashion. UPDATE it's been a few weeks and the tongue is no longer an issue. I bumped my rating to 4 stars. They are reasonably comfortable and good value for the price. But I doubt I'd buy them again. Unless they hold up for a year or more. ... show more

  • They definitely work for...
Size: 14 Wide Color: Dark Chocolate/Sandshell
I had be a Timberland, Carolina, RedWing, and for the last 6years, Danners work boot wearer. Those brands all served their purpose but manufacturing adjustments over time usually led to each brand not working for me anymore. These Cincinnati's are very heavy but insanely comfortable so they will be my Brand/Model moving forward. ... show more
