Overall first impressions I give it a 3.5/5. If it holds up at least 2 or 3 years I'd give it a 4 to 4.5. Delivery is fast. Easy install, two mounting brackets and the blind just clips onto those, screws and anything else needed is included. The material the blind is made out of looks good, I really like that part. Nice stitching at the bottom, looks very nice. Now the rest of the blind does look a little cheap. The housing is alright, just matte black plastic, from a few feet away looks pretty good. The cord to raise and lower the blind isn't great, reminds me of those plastic Mardi gras beads. And the gear inside the housing is also plastic so I'm a little worried how long that will last. Raising and lowering the blind is very smooth though. So for $40 and being made in China, it's an alright deal. Most blinds I've bought before end up being cheap plastic things that break eventually. If it was a little cheaper like $25 to $30 range it would be an easy recommendation. At this price, as long as it lasts a while with normal usage, I'll be pretty happy and probably would buy another. ... show more

Our television is directly across from a window in my livingroom. During certain times of the day we cannot see anything on the screen because of sun glare. Decided to get this shade to help and boy did it help!! We keep it down most of the day, but since we have two other windows in the room, it doesn't make things too gloomy in the room. The media could not be loaded. I buy so much from Amazon that I don’t take the time to review very often. But these blinds are amazing! They seem to be very decent quality for the price. So easy to install! The header gives it a nice finish touch which more expensive blinds did not have. I actually ordered these only because the more expensive ones I wanted didn’t have a 22 inch size. I’m so glad that it worked out that I got these ones. Also, a great feature to be able to shorten the cord and use the supplied clip to keep the cord from dangling. A great feature when you have cats! ... show more
