First off, I love the colour (yellow) on this and was glad to find it a bit cheaper than the other colours. As others reported, there was a bit of an odor on the first couple uses, but that's gone now. Also, I burned the first two pieces of toast, but I expect that's about normal. I did think that the slots would be a bit longer. Slots are wide enough for bagels, to be sure, but should be a bit longer to accommodate breads like Pumpernickel and Rye. It's also a tad bigger than my last toaster was, but still fits in the designated 'toaster' area. Not compact by my view, but still probably smaller than a lot of toasters out there. My last toaster lasted thirty years, so I'll be happy if this makes it half that long. ... show more

Perfectly cute yellow toaster. It is a much brighter "sunny" yellow than the more pale shade in the photos. It's really vibrant, but not neon. Exactly the shade I was looking for. As far as toasting? It toasts things. I've found that even though the dial ranges from 1-6, any setting past 3-4 tends to blacken and burn the toast. Setting 2-3 seems perfect for most stuff. Maybe higher end of the dial would be better for frozen items. Knocked off 1 star because the cord is extremely short and hard to reach awkwardly placed kitchen outlets. ... show more
