This is the ultimate pencil skirt!! It is long enough that even if it rides up some, you're still covered. The fabric is stretchy and forgiving around the legs and seat, but not so much that it's a "pull on" - the waistband won't give out if the skirt happens to be tugged on. And the pockets are deep and useful, and they don't bunch up like some skirt pockets do! It looks like a stiff, "suit material" skirt - the kind that could bust at any minute if you move wrong - but it's totally forgiving and comfortable, without sacrificing style and professionalism. I see "sheerness" as a rating factor, but it's definitely not sheer.

I wore this at a dog show and was worried it was going to be thinner and need a slip. It’s not lined but was heavy enough no slip needed. Has a zipper and also pockets. Moderate slit in the back. It’s also pretty stretchy. Nice skirt. I’ll be ordering again

I was a skeptical person when it came to sizing. The large actually fit. Snugged up to the correct spots. I did get a light wash prior to wearing. This is the second skirt I have purchased from Kate . One is black and this kakhi I nabbed on sale Good transition piece for fall. Well done!

The knit skirt was very disappointing, especially for plus-size wear. The fit is extremely tight and unflattering, clinging in all the wrong places and offering no shape or structure. It’s not comfortable to wear, and the material doesn’t stretch well enough to accommodate curves. For plus-size options, this skirt falls short of expectations and I wouldn’t recommend it.
