This rod holder looks really good. I have it in my bedroom. My wife hasn’t even kicked it out yet. She will eventually, but it looks that nice, so she’s not worried about it yet lol. It has places for storage. It holds pliers a knife and even spools of line.

Of the floor standing rod holders I'vev tried, this was the best constructed for the money. It appears to be solidly made of plastic, and fits easily together. The staggered heights of the rod butt supports do as they say - prevent reels from hitting each other. However, the stand only works with small to medium diameter poles because of the width of the grooves the poles must fit into. This precludes using the holder for the larger diameter saltwater rods or surf rods without modification. Moreover, the rubber fingers holding even the smaller rods in the grooves tended to slip loose if the rod diameters were small and the rods heavy, which can pull the rod out of the grips. In my case, I solved this problem by making bungee ties to secure my rods in the rack that either the rubber fingers wouldn't grip or the rod diameters were too large to fit in the grooves (see second photo). Once that was accomplished, the rack worked just fine. If you are storing smaller freshwater rods or smaller diameter saltwater rods that don't have heavy reels, this rack is perfect for you. However, with larger diameter rods or rods having heavy reels, you will need to make another provision for securing the rod to the rack besides the grooves provided in its design.

Absolute junk. Leans badly when fully loaded. The little pieces that are supposed to hold the rods in place are made of foam. They wear out quickly. I have quite a bit of kastking stuff that I like… they fully missed the mark on this.

This is BY FAR the best vertical rod storage rack I've ever owned. The double-tier design holds up to TWICE as many rods as some other models of the same size (16 max). My favorite feature though has to be the carry handle in the center, which is easy to reach even when the rack is fully loaded. The rack is sturdy and well-balanced but still very light weight (unlike some wood models I own) and the handle makes it super easy to carry across the basement or garage - just a super clever feature. The rotating base is spins smoothly and it has some extra compartments for pliers, spools and other misc gear. Really highly recommend yet another superior item from KastKing.

We have had this stand for about 8 months and it’s not sturdy. The rods fall out (the flip isn’t strong enough to hold the rods) and cause the entire stand to be wobbly. In hindsight, I would not recommend it. UPDATE: I was contacted by the company weeks after I did my review. And they kindly apologized for my experience with the rod holder and they refunded my money. I would purchase items from them again just because of the amazing response. I wanted people to know my experience not even realizing they would read these comments and respond. THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS! I appreciate this company’s willingness to make things right. Great job.

The media could not be loaded. Well-designed & constructed; conveniently holds & organizes a ton of gear in a very small space, making it easy to "Grab & go". I own a lot of equipment for bank & kayak fishing & have it stored all over: on ceilings, garage, & closets, but I wanted something readily at hand so I could quickly "Scoot & shoot" and be out on the local ponds in seconds when the spirit moved me; this fit the bill. Assembly a little dicey as the tolerances are tight, but a little dish soap helped solve that. Otherwise everything functions as advertised. Impressed with this enough upon assembly to get another as a gift for my son for his new townhouse; this is perfect to hold most of his gear without marking up his walls or ceiling.
