    • Good for the price
Size: 7'1"- MH- Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
Better than i expected it to be. I bought this as a way to kinda test out the quality of the Kastking rods, it has exceeded my expectations. Has amazing sensitivity for a 2-piece rod, the cork grip feels like its decent quality and the guides seem to be holding up pretty well so far. Plus it comes with a second tip section which is pretty cool since thats where rods tend to get damaged so its nice having a backup if something happens. Was quite impressed with the durability of the shipping tube as I've had a lot of issues with rods being broken in shipping, the quality of the shipping packaging from Kastking is better than what I've experienced from the higher end vrands like Okuma and St. Croix so they definitely get a big thumbs up on that. Casts extremely well for a medium power rod and has been plenty strong and durable landing some decent size fish. Will definitely try out more of the Kastking rods along with picking up another one of these. ... show more

    • Punches above its class
Size: 7'1"- M- Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
Excellent budget rod. Beginner friendly. Would recommend to someone just starting or for folks that just need another setup without breaking the bank. Very lightweight and balances well with their Spartacus II reel. I haven’t entirely put it through its paces yet, so I can’t speak to durability, but I love that it comes with extra tips just in case. ... show more

Size: 7'1"- MH- Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
If you want a great, reliable and quality product for a much better price than the competitors this is it. It’s a beautiful rod that you can feel every nibble on and the cork grip is a stellar touch. I cannot recommend this enough!

    • Great rod
Size: 7'10"- H- Ex-Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
I got the 7,10” heavy fast casting combo. The rod is great nice backbone but still feel a tick on the line. I use it as my frog rod. I got the combo with the matching Spartacus II reel and let me tell you it’s slim and sleek but it’s no slouch. I love all my KK gear and fish tournaments weekly with it. I have 8 different casting setups and one spinning outfit all KK plus today I’ve ordered 1 more casting and 1 more spinning reel. Next is the mega jaws reel. The only reason for 4 stars is my preference. It does have a long tail behind the reel but I wish it was 2” longer I have long arms at 6,1” and that’s my only complaint. Rods very sensitive like I said and the performance is that of a 300$+ rod. Little heavy but it’s a long rod. You cannot beat the price and performance of kastking gear period. Their clothing and hats are awesome too. I’m in Florida so it’s 100* plus now but the shirts breathe. I’ll have a new YouTube up shortly using and reviewing this gear, so look for Marty-RR outdoors. ... show more

    • Great pole
Size: 7'1"- MH- Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
Review Image by Breck Royer
I caught a couple fish with this pole. One of them was over 4 pounds. This pole held up great, It’s very smooth casting, more smooth than my abu Garcia poles. I would recommend this pole especially bass fishing. It has a very nice feel to it.

Awesome! It’s perfect. I got the spartacus 2 bait caster that matches this rod and couldn’t be happier with the combination. Just buy it. Can’t go wrong with kastking.

    • Great value
Size: 7'1"- M- Fast (2pcs+ Extra Tip) Style: Casting
Pleasantly shocked at the feel of the 7’ 1” medium fast action casting rod. Not typically a fan of two pieces, but tired of spending $300+ on rods, I took a chance expecting the worse. It’s actually quite good and easily exceeds its cost. I use for my top-water top water rig. In a pinch could even be used for finesse lures that require extreme sensitivity like jigs, Senkos and worms. ... show more
