Recently purchased the Kast King Bait Boss Chest Pack. My wife bought me a Kast King fishing backpack for Christmas and I’ve gotten a ton of use out of it already. The chest pack is ideal for those going for a quiet day out pier or surf fishing who doesn’t want or need to pack & carry a bag full of gear. The chest pack has space to safely and comfortably carry the essentials (hooks, pliers, knife) while giving me the mobility to cast for striped bass or blues. Bag is perfect for holding just the right amount of stuff. However, the straps just don’t get small enough for me. I’m 5’10” 160lbs and the mid strap is pretty loose. It’s exactly what I was looking for so I’ll keep it and figure out how to make it tighter. Paired with the kastking 3500 hyper seal tackle box makes this a light but utility heavy option.

This will be replacing my fly fishing vest as it is way more convenient and light weight. Love the pockets and especially love the zip-open little work area it provides. Zippers look good, material is thick and feels well constructed. I got the green one but now I want to get the black one and give it to my wife as we usually fish together. Definitely worth the price!

If you fish with hard plastics I'd stay away. If you fish soft plastics this is perfect for you! It has pockets to hold your plastics and additional spots for hooks or whatever else you need. Perfect if you're using a wacky rig, Texas rig or whatever. Also would be great for panfish which is what I'll primarily use it for. The chest rig itself is very adjustable, I'm a big guy and it fits me perfect but I could adjust it down to fit my 10 year old.
