I bought this mostly for the tucker, but ended-up returning it all. Hard to tell from the pics, but the tucker is actually plastic. I tested it, and while it did take a few hits from a hammer with a problem, I can't imagine it would last very long. Tuckers are supposed to be metal, so they last forever. I ended-up using a metal scrapper which did the same thing for the small job I had. As for the other items, the knife is a joke, don't even bother. And the scissors, while looking sturdy, are too small to cut carpet with. Fortunately, I had a pair of huge scissors I bought to cut garden fabric with that worked much better. Spend a few more dollars and get some better products if you really need these things. ... show more

    • Use to remove carpeting
This 3 piece carpet tool set was just ok. I thought it would make cutting and removing the old carpeting (that one stressed and unhappy cat was peeing on...) much faster or easier; however it didn't seem to make a difference using these carpet scissors and their pocket knife versus my heavy duty utility razor blade box cutter. There wasn't an opportunity to use the tucking tool since we were removing carpet, but maybe when we install the LVP (luxury vinyl planks) on the stairs, it might be useful and not scratch the LVP since it's a plastic material and not the traditional metal tucking tool. ... show more
