Material and construction feel solid. Both ratchet and reversing mechanism work well. Another reviewer mentioned receiving a screwdriver. My package didn't include one. Product page doesn't say that one is included though some product photos do show a screwdriver. My only concern is durability. I've had three of these ratcheting belts and the ratcheting mechanism on one belt broke after about 2 years; another, after 2 months. The plate that grabs the belt as you insert it into the buckle broke in both instances, allowing the belt to slide freely in and out. I prefer belts that adjust beyond the usual one inch spacing. This belt does just that, looks nice, and feels solid. Took off one star because of durability problems with 2 of 3 previous such belts.

It is difficult to explain but the ratcheting feature is the outside texture of the belt and not a "track" like I've seen other belts have. Hopefully it hold up over time because of this setup but overall the belt feels sturdy and works well.

This ratchet belt is attractive and the ratchet mechanism holds the belt well. I haven't tried one of these ratcheting belts before and like the fine control you have over how tight this belt is. The nylon fabric appears pretty durable and think it will last a while.

I ordered this belt because I am tired of the traditional belts with holes because they don't work well when you are in between sizes and then they also get ripped/break over time. So far what I have loved about this belt is the flexibility. You can stop it at any point and opening the belt is super easy as well. The belt is reversible which means it's really like having 2 belts (in one). The buckle looks great. Very glad to have it in my belts collection!

I prefer the ratchet style belts as they seem to outlast traditional belts with holes. I was concerned it would be too long, but it does include the instruction to shorten the length of the belt. I took off one star due to the elastic belt loops as they tend to wear out over time.

The silver / gray side of this belt, in my humble opinion, looks pretty awesome. I wish it had a little bit of flex to it, like a certain groove-y belt that I own. But that was neither promised nor advertised.

The media could not be loaded. I love this nylon belt. It is very durable and really good looking. The buckle is nice and sleek and has some good heft to it. It says it scratch resistant and I haven’t had a problem with it yet. The nylon is incredibly tough and very durable. The end is finished off with some sort of plastic coating so there will be no fraying. It is reversible by simply pulling on the buckle and twisting it to change the belt to the other color. It comes with the black on one side and the gray on the other side. The gray is a lighter, gray almost silvery. It also comes with some very clear instructions and a tiny screwdriver in case you do need to trim the belt, which would require taking off the buckle. It seems very easy to do. But it does come in the correct size that it stated in the product description. I’m incredibly happy with it. For this price it is an incredible belt. Absolutely love it!
