  • Better then expected
Just getting back in Pool after 30 years off, I needed a Cue, and because I was rusty anyway, I decided to Get Carbon Fiber, simply because it won't warp or chip Just getting back into Pool ,I seen a lot of Lucasi cues, and I liked the Butt.....But I haven't seen the Pinnacle Shaft,,,, I figured it had to be quality, so I purchased it Man, it took a solid 48 hours of pool time to really appreciate the Shaft At 1st, I hated it.... I shot with Revo's & Cynergys, and boy of boy there's a Difference, Jacobys to The other 3 kind of all felt the same, even though all 4 shafts are 12.5. the other 3 simply feel skinnier, ansld easier to see more of the cue ball....A different Taper for sure....And also, the other 3, they feel so much more DIRECT, like stiff or firm or more powerful....Direct is the word I keep using But after a dialing the Pinacle Shaft in, I love it... I play constantly with my buddy that has his predator, and I like it, and I like to shoot with it here and there.......But I like the Difference I think my shaft absolutely, 100% feels better... I came from early 90's Muecci's......sure it took a bit to get use to the Deflection, but now that I am, this Shaft feels like,,,, It feels like my old Meccui......at least feels no different then an old Wood shaft The sound as well, feels so much more like a wood shaft then those other 3 shafts Idk, I am so use to this,,, it's no Revo, but the difference may suit many, it's just a soft feeling shaft The taper might not fit all as well,,, but I do shoot mainly with a short closed bridge with a slow shot, so it doesn't bother me anymore Im Happy with my purchase Lol, one more thing,,, yea, those other 3 might have less deflection, idk,,, they definitely feel more direct and accurate But this this is straight as can be,,, so many times i have put extreme English, and just try and barely clip the object ball,,,,, and the cue ball goes straight as can be,,,, if I miss, you would think with the extreme English, it would reflect the ball back, Nope, straight So I would have to imagine it's on par with the Best out there ... show more

  • Awesome
Getting for 800 on sale was a steal. I put in over 75 hrs research in finding my cue and settled on this. Looks amazing feels that way as well. Getting a predator black for Christmas may spend that elsewhere now cause this cue is top notch
