I ended up liking this shirt a lot more than I thought I would. I liked the cut and the color and thought it was more flattering than I expected it to be. The quality of the material is good and I think it will provide good protection from the sun. It's thick but I think it's still lightweight enough not to be too hot. It's not transparent and the color is rich. It dries very quickly which is a nice feature. I think it will be perfect for summer days when I'll be outside in the sunshine and need that little extra bit of sun protection. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. For reference: 5'0" tall, 165lbs and apple shaped body type.

When I go to the beach or pool I am usually running after or playing with children and as much as I like wearing traditional bikinis or swimsuits, the chance of a wardrobe malfunction is often too great for my comfort. I’ve had my eye on this top for a while and finally decided it was worth a try. I am so glad that I did, it is by and far my favorite swim piece. First off, the quality of the materials is excellent and the stitching etc is perfect. Immediately you can tell that this is a higher end product. The color is exactly as pictured (which is great because I wanted to match it with a top I already own) and sizing was perfect. Clingy, but not tight. Regarding size, I purchased a large which, as I said, fit perfectly. Here are my measurements for your reference: Bust: 35 Under bust: 31 Waist: 30 Hips: 36. I’ve worn it over a bikini top and a tankini top and it worked fine with either. I don’t know that I would be willing to wear it without another top underneath as the fabric is very….revealing…if you’re are cold…you get what I am saying. All in all, I really love this top. Not only is it comfortable, but it also did protect me from the sun. As someone who burns easily this is a lifesaver! Also, it dries really quickly which makes it perfect for those days when you are in and out of the pool all day. No disclosure needed - I am a “reviewer” of Amazon products and often get things at a discount, however this item I have bought at FULL price for my own personal use. Thank you for reading my review!

This shirt was a real surprise. First the striping down the sides is really slenderizing. And, they have added stitching that gives the effect of a baseball shirt that surprisingly makes this top more flattering than just a plain t-shirt. I also love that it fits at the bottom in such a way I was able to blouse it a little so it looks so stylish with my swim shorts. My only complaint is the sizing is way off, so one star off for that. I normally wear a large in these shirts, but it took an extra large for me in this one. I think it’s really junior sizing. I’m 70, 5 ft 6 inches tall and 148 pounds and it took the extra large.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this swim shirt. As many state, the arms are a little snug. I found after wearing it for a few minutes though, the tight feeling went away and my movement was never restricted. The body portion fit just as described in the size charts. When in doubt, measure. I ordered this to use postpartum. The only swim suits that currently fit me are the maternity style and I have never been comfortable with how low cut the tops are. (They're cut that way to accommodate changing breast sizes, so it makes sense, but is still annoying.) Add to that a grabby infant who wants to pull that low cut top sideways and you have a recipe for disaster at the beach. The swim shirt cut that scenario completely out of the equation. I was covered and comfortable, which meant I could focus on having fun with the kids. The extra sun protection was just a bonus. If you're self-conscious or just value modesty, I highly recommend this shirt. It breaths well (doesn't make you hot) and dries quickly.

A great knit shirt to wear over swimwear. Comfortable and love the fabric as it dries quickly. The fabric is a good weight and hides the mid-section nicely. The fit is loose but not baggy. I wear a size small in non-fitted knit tops. I purchased a medium, because I figured this fabric would not be as stretchy like some loose-weave cotton t-shirts. I like this v-neck version as it looks a bit more feminine and easy to put on and take off over the head. I also like the different colors on the sides (inserts) as it gives a slender appearance when worn. I noticed the nice weight of this fabric doesn't show through the bikini top I was wearing probably due to the medium size I was wearing. I purchased several of these in different colors. I've worn them in the Caribbean and even on some of our snorkeling adventures. The shirt kept me cool and comfortable. Good quality and I highly recommend.

This brand has two fits: the slim fit and looser/regular fit. I went with the regular fit and sized up. The body part was not fitted or baggy and fit across the bust fine, but the arms were still too snug. I definitely have chubby arms, so if you don't and like a looser fit--this is great. This top is definitely a "women's fit/cut", which I usually always dislike (personal preference). If you are bigger busted than me it will definitely be tight and you may want an XL since I ordered a L. Nice quality, vibrant color as shown online :) If it helps: I wear a women's Medium on top and bottom or size 8-10. I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs, bra size is 34 C-D.

Kanu rash guards run very small. I normally wear a M-L and bought one in XL and it’s super tight. So this time I purchased an XXL and it fits the way I want. Plus it’s a cute pattern and provides excellent sun protection.
