This coverup is a good buy for the beach, pool or anywhere where you are going to wear a bathing suit. I received a medium and it fit perfectly. At 5' tall, it is sometimes a bit tricky to buy items on line. It wasn't too long or too short. Just the right length if I was at the beach and want to throw it on to go to the snack stand or the bathroom This coverup is completely sheer (it's crocheted) so I would not buy it for you to go out to the store. It's meant for pool or beachside or for things like that (in my opinion). It is very lightweight and has two tassels on the side (one on each side). The color is like a creamy ivory, not white...very pretty. I don't think the tassels are meant to tighten the fit, just more decorative. On the tag, it says it is machine washable and 100% polyester.
