Very simple yet elegant dining room light! There was an existing round push button dimmer light switch that worked perfectly by just pushing (not turning) the button again for the different levels of lights. Unfortunately my painter is a button pusher and pushed it many times quickly and now it flickers when it's turned on. Some males (I say that after having two sons and also working with many males that can't just push a button once and stop....and they are very hard on light switches) have an instinctual need to push buttons quickly and numerous times. I watched him push it many times quickly until I shouted STOP and then the chandelier flickered every time after that when turning on. Hopefully it is just that I need to replace the light switch which means I need to have an electrician in again. Gggrrrr Will update if it had an effect on the Chandelier.....hope not! Just a warning for others.....don't push the on button quickly and many times. Each push of the button will give one of the levels of lights it provides. It worked great until then. I watched my handyman install this and I acted as a guide to the levels being evenly spaced and straight. He did all the adjustments from the ceiling on a ladder and it didn't take long or as complicated as many make it out to be here. Just have patience and watch the video before hand. Beautiful light fixture and priced very reasonable. It really compliments my dining room and reflects sparkling light from the crystals on surrounding walls and ceiling. I really enjoy this fixture and I also got crystal single layer ceiling fixtures for the entry and other rooms that match. I highly recommend and I love this light! ... show more

The chandelier is 5 bulb so it’s nice and bright. It looks nice in my closet now that it’s all put together. It comes totally flat and all of the glass is linear glass pieces that must have a tiny clip put in their hole , hung individually and crimped closed. TEDIOUS. The glass pieces do not hang evenly, there are scratches and incorrect drill holes on the metal part and other disappointing aspects of its appearance. If I were hanging this light over my dinning table or in my entry way I would be upset but, HEY, I bought it for my closet… so, for the money it’s nice. ... show more
