I am using Linux Mint on this device while i'm writing this review.I have to say that i am amazed with the performance and comfort of this miniPC. It has enough RAM memory to run multiple programs or do multiple tasks with no problem. The power consumption is very low, about 5W using common software like web broser and email clients. The SSD drive makes everything really fast. Very easy to mount, easy to carry, cheap and the power to play a lot of videogames or editing videos. This is a totally recommended device. ... show more

As an IT professional I bought this for my mother-in-law who needed a computer for general purpose workloads, including email, watching YouTube and visiting websites. She didn't need it for playing games. I liked that it included Windows 11 pre-installed and it had a small footprint. The only complaint I have is that the Wi-Fi antenna wasn't as strong as I wished it was. I took away 1 star because I had to install an internal USB Wi-Fi adapter to achieve the signal strength I needed. Perhaps this is to be expected from an antenna within a metal box. ... show more

I was careful to pick the right mini-pc that would have decent everyday performance and good cooling. So far THIS computer has done great. I ran several handbrake encode tests and saw no throttling from overheating. Playback of media files all the way up to 4K x265 and AV1 works great. Occasionally I'll find a file where the bitrate is just too high but this is rare. For just a few dollars more I could have upgraded to a faster CPU and more ram but again my worry was too much heat. I found a good promo code on techbargains so I was able to score mine for $219. I tried having a strong fan blowing across the vents to see if I got a boost in fps during my encode tests but saw little difference. At this price point you are getting older generation laptop hardware but that doesn't mean it won't perform well provided you have at least 16GB of ram. Just to be safe I placed the box on a passive laptop cooler and bought an extended warranty. The PC is the size of a small paperback novel with good transfer speeds over USB 3.0 of around 300 MB/s using windows explorer. Running Teracopy slows transfers down greatly to 65 MB/s but you get the CRC check. I often back up my movies to HDD to watch later without adding wear and tear on my UB820. This little computer plays the files just fine. Costs the same as a Nvidia Shield but has way more functionality. Finally I have not had one problem with W11 Pro or any updates. Not a fan of some of the W11 changes so I installed classic shell. ... show more

The item was easy to set up. It was basically plug and play. The pc was fast and quick and my kid was able to play his games in it. I also got a good deal. Lastly, I thought customer service was great and very attentive and responsive when I needed them.

Works well, but DO NOT BUY IF CONNECTING TO A SAMSUNG TV!! I have had nothing but problems with the display on a Samsung TV. It will either constantly go black for a second then come back, or will simply stay a black screen. I tried to mitigate by getting an active Display port to HDMI converter, but no luck. Nothing I do will fix this. Works fine on other TVs/monitors, but Samsung TV, find something else ... show more
