There are a few ways one can roll this blind thing, but I put it on all of the whiter sides, went outside, and we could not see inside that bathroom window at night, with the lights on in the bathroom - at all. It does let a lot of natural light in, and I love that, but if you do not like a lot of natural light in then this isn’t for you. The blinds are really nice !! One came defective but replacement was sent and arrived in 2 days. I will add that the pull chain is plastic but since I have curtains it’s not visible. I Definitely recommend them!
