When is a small handheld flashlight too bright? LOL. This one is close. I walk my dogs early in the morning on a rual road and use this to light up the street. I could easily blind on coming drivers. With new batteries its very bright – the reflective light can be blinding (I walk though a white vinyl fence, close up the reflective light is almost too much!) Overall excellent product. Batteries seem to last longer than other flashlights I've had at this capability.

This flashlight is so bright for the price. You will find no other flashlight this bright this cheap. It's very durable and it takes 6 AA's. The only thing I which it had was a actual zoom. It says it had digital zoom which it just means that that it dims the spot LEDs and then dims the food led to go to spot. You will see in picture 2 spot LEDs and 1 food led. The last picture is of my bathroom with lights off and only flashlight shinning on the ceiling to show brightness of it.

Be warned, the 6 battery version when sealing the battery cap, will eat away at the negative end of the battery cap, it's ridiculously tight, so forget about using rechargeable batteries, it will eventually wear the metal contact plate out on the batteries. On the 6 batteries that came with it, I thought I was doing something wrong when closing the seal, but apparently I wasn't, it requires force to push down the batteries while turning to seal it. I took it off once and noticed that the metal was coming off the negative contact ends on the batteries. Fine for single use batteries I guess, but not rechargeables. Other than that, it's a solid build and gives a perfect light. Such a shame they didn't give any thought to the battery compartment, I own another high lumen output flashlight (not energizer) where it has a barrel loader, where the loader pops out, you put in your batteries and re-insert, easy to do and and no battery damage.

This light is so bright it would make you change your name from Saul to Paul. I took it out in the middle of the day and it lit up the ground so I could find some silver screws in the grass. It has a steel construction and great grip. I definitely recommend it.

What you get here for the price makes the purchase of this Flashlight well worth it. I've seen many lights this size or larger, powered similarly that do not put out half the light this does. It's said 1300 lumen and I've compared this light, one to one with a more expensive light that supposedly puts out 1100 lumen .The Energizer buried it! The beam seems to be a mixture of a Throw or Spot and Flood. They call it 'focus tech' ? Not sure how that works. If you're looking for a 100 yard spot light this isn't it. However it does have a really good reach. I think it's designed for indoors and its great for that. I would have preferred a polymer construction for 'feel' and color other than "chrome". I'm not into 'shinny' looking lights. Black would have been fine. There's no directions. Batteries go plus+ toward the Light end. Of course it's LED and has 3 modes. (You should look at the product details on the promotion page). It can lie down or stand on Light end. The Rubber on/off/mode button is closer to the light end. It works with assurance on the bare hand. Might be a bit slower to push with glove. Okay, do I like it and recommend it? Yes I do. I purchased 8 of them for kids homes, my home and business. You'll get about 3 to 4 hours of steady light before it just goes out. Warms up but not hot. I first found this light in a home improvement store and paid a few dollars more than Amazon. However a friend found it in a similar improvement store one State over and paid less than $25 for it. He wanted a few however settled for the only one they had. It's a good Flashlight.

The media could not be loaded. The Energizer LED 1300 lumen flashlight is amazing. I was surprised how bright the flashlight is and the distance it covers. I would say that it yields its full power (in high mode) up to about 150-200ft away, and decently lights up objects 400ft away. I have not used the battery enough to properly review the battery life, but it seems have maintained its full strength for the time I have used it. The digital zoom is activated when the light is turned on and the power button is held. Wha this does is dim the two spotlights and keeps on the flood, and if continued to be held (or done again in the same cycle) then the floodlights will turn back on and the flood will dim out. Overall, the 1300 lumen Energizer LED flashlight is definitely worth the little over $20.

I was looking for a solid, very bright flashlight for walking at night. I wanted a no nonsense switch that could be operated with a gloved thumb when necessary, solid metal housing and not overly heavy. This flashlight seemed to fit the requirements and so far it has. I had no problems installing the batteries as some have mentioned. It lost a star for some design issues. It looked like the head of the flashlight had "flats" that would prevent it from rolling. Oddly, while the flat spots exist, the design does not allow the flat spots to engage a flat surface so the flashlight can roll. The other odd design issue is the rounded end which does not allow the flashlight to stand on end and be used to light an area when needed. I do not think that I have ever owned a flashlight that could not stand on end. Even the Maglite has the inexpensive rubber accessory that prevents the lights from rolling. The flashlight has to be stood on the lens end to keep it from rolling. Perhaps not a deal killer but definitely odd and inconvient in my view. Other than these issues, it seems to be a descent flashlight that will serve the purpose for which it was purchased.
