This dude is DENSE, which is great for what he was made for- containing fire! the instructions are simple enough to follow and he came with a snuffer and two roasting forks, along with a wick sponge :) very cute and pretty detailed! will update again once i've used him UPDATE- he's GREAT! Smooth & Clean Burn - odd at first but easy to get used to. I wish it came with more of the cotton wick however, they're easy enough to order. I cooked those chocolate stuffed marshmallows over the turtle and they came out perfectly melty, warm and burnt just enough. Plus, this pot burns for a little while - at least a few hours. I think it's a great thing to have if you want a portable flame - who doesn't need fire for one reason or another? Kids and adults love it! Can't wait to use it again.

This cute turtle tabletop firepit is one of my favorite finds this season. I love being able to have a smokeless fire indoors. It’s cozy, romantic, and fun. This turtle is decorative and well made. It’s heavy and low, so it’s safe and will not tip over. It comes with a wick for fuel efficiency, a cover that puts out the fire, and two little skewers for marshmallows or weiners. You can use your own isopropyl alcohol or bioethanol fuel. Both fuels will produce nontoxic, smokeless flames. I insert ceramic wool wick into my firepit and add enough bioethanol fuel to thoroughly soak the wick and cover 0.5” of the bottom (see picture). This way, the fire lasts 30+ minutes, which is plenty of time for smores! Even though it is a small fire, it puts out a lot of heat. The wick is reusable and will last for several burns if you take care of it. To make the wick last longer, let the fire burn out on it's own and store the wick so that it stays dry. I keep mine in the turtle with the cover on it. Don't let water near the wick.

The tabletop fireplace turtle is the cutest miniature fire pit I've ever come across. Purchased it as a gift, and the recipient was absolutely delighted. Using ethanol gel makes it easy to operate, and it surprisingly generates a decent amount of heat in a small space. The added bonus of included marshmallow holders makes toasting them a breeze. It's both charming and functional – a delightful addition to any setting.

The KALOPAR Tabletop Fire Pit in molded cement is bigger than others with a bigger pit and bowl (3-in diameter). The base is much wider, lower and heavier so there is a much lower chance of knocking-over / spilling fuel. This allows more marshmallow toasting at one time, but only two forks come with this model. The forks are substantial, but they do not collapse / extend. A burn chamber is not included. Therefore I added 4 extendable forks and the Ciekope 304 Steel Burn Chamber (available at Amazon Online) to round out this tabletop fire pit for maximum use and safety. Fuel (91% isopropyl alcohol) lasts almost twice as long in the burn chamber. The flame is taller so roasting can be staggered vertically. Safety is greatly enhanced.
