after 10 months not cooling . set at 40 degrees but only cools to 49 degrees, as measured by another thermometer i put inside unit. customer service very good at making you jump thur too many hoops to get anything done. look elsewhere for a wine cooler

I’ve wanted a beverage cooler for some time now, but thought I’d need one of those 100 can jobbies that cost $500 – no way thanks. Since I got this in and set up it may be nice to have a bigger one, but I’m making use of this size just fine. It really is set up to be a wine chiller, as the listing says. The company has beverage coolers as well but this is, as I said, geared towards wine. Set up was a snap, very well packaged, and it took maybe an hour to completely cool to 40. I wanted to go as cold as it could because I knew I was going to put wine and other drinks in it. The wine lasted a couple weeks until I decided to make a very easy modification for smaller canned/bottled beverages. The wire racks that come with it are very nice and hold the bottles perfectly. However, I needed something smaller as the spacing of the full-size bottle racks was too large. I ended up cutting shelves from an egg crate light ceiling panel to replace the racks. With them the cold air moves through the cooler just fine and I can now use any combination of full-size wine bottles as intended or add smaller items as well such as those shown in the included photo.     • Get a separate thermometer for inside the fridge
Unfortunately the temperature you set it to is not accurate to what is inside the fridge. There is usually about a 4 to 10 degree difference which could spoil some valuable bottles. It has gotten a bit more stable after a week with about a 4 degree hotter difference so I set it to 51 to get 55. Temperature fluctuations occur more than I’d like. It looks nice. Build quality is 6/10 as the trim looks like metal but is plastic. The trimming is not joined together well. The interior is tight and you won’t be able to fit any bottles the way you want unless they are all the standard slim kind. I put whites on one side and reds on the other for a tight squeeze. ... show more

I was a bit hesitant to get a brand of wine cooler that I wasn't familiar with, but this Kalamera Mini Wine Cooler is doing its job! First, in unpacking the cooler, everything was well protected by the manufacturer against damage. Very impressive. The cooler is beautiful and lights up inside. The main thing... how does it work? Hubby works on hvac so has an instrument to measure refrigerator air. We set it to 55 degrees and then to 45 degrees... each time we checked, it was either right on, or within 2-3 degrees, which is completely acceptable. The stainless-steel trim on the door goes nicely with stainless steel appliances. We are well pleased. ... show more

Very pretty silver color and well made and heavy. it is so very nice and it holds so much, not only wine bottles but also other items on the bottom of this refrigerator. Can't say enough about how nice this is. Great value and it fits in such a small space, love it.

This wine storage refrigerator is perfect for any enthusiast. It was so easy to set the temperature. There is a current temperature reading and a set point temperature when you press the arrows.
