The weird photos Mae this seem bigger than it really is. Definitely measure your needs and space. Outside of the weird photo it is a great rack and perfect organizing my gear in a small space. So that I don't bury the lead, I'm very impressed with this shelf! It's well built, semi-configurable, and very sturdy. I'm reviewing the 3 shelf unit including the bottom wire rack, not the 4 shelf unit. I did quite a bit of research on these shelves before pulling the trigger trying to compare features and components for what would work best for me. I scrubbed through reviews and despite the disparaging reviews for this unit, it really is well built and made of decent quality materials. This unit was on sale for 39.99 and was the cheapest of the units I was comparing. I was a bit concerned about this one because some of the other 32" wide shelves seemed to have a support in the middle for extra weight whereas this one didn't. I don't plan on climbing on it or anything, but I did not want it to sag as some of the reviews mentioned. I was pleasantly surprised with this because the bottom wire rack shelf came in two halves with a channel shaped support in the middle to prevent it from sagging. And it's sturdy so my only fear was thankfully not an issue. The middle and upper shelves are hinged so when they swing open the hinges are beneath the shelves. This takes up a bit of room on the underside (about 1/2" in the center) but it does help prevent them from sagging with additional weight. I plan on just having the bare tools on it so weight should not be much of a problem. Another thing I liked about this unit is that the top shelf was more solid than just a series of wire/bars going across like the bottom shelf. There are some slots but nothing wide open. They are small enough that nails/screws/nuts won't fall through if they spill on it. What I did not find in the reviews or the description was the height of the middle shelf. [It can vary from 6 3/4 inches to 7 3/4 inches and I'll explain below.] The descriptions give overall height and depth dimensions, distance between the wires to hold the hanging drills (which include room for most batteries if attached), but not the interior of the middle shelf (or shelves on the 4 rack unit). The reason that the shelf height can vary is because the assembly can be altered a bit. The frames of the shelves are made of 1/2" x 1/2" square tubing with holes drilled for the attaching screws. This means that each shelf can be individually mounted above or below the support cross brace on the outside ends. If the top shelf is mounted on top and the bottom shelf is mounted below that gives you an extra inch of space in the middle shelf. That and the attachment holders [the screwdriver/hammer/pliers holders] can be swapped around (above or below the supports) as well giving an additional almost 1/8" for two of them. I also liked that the holders' screw holes were universal so they could be rearranged to fit my needs as well. A note on the installation hardware, the package came with 1/4Φ x 1 1/2" expansion anchors for mounting in either concrete or cinder block walls and 1/4 Φ x 1 1/2 drywall anchors with screws for mounting into drywall or preferably into the studs in a wall. I have the unit assembled, but have not gotten it installed in my garage yet. I'll come back and add any additional details once I put it to good use.

I have acquired so many tools since building my shed and kept misplacing my drills and attachments. This black and yellow colors are vibrant power tool organizer has been a life saver in the first hour of install. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something simple and durable who is limited on space for tools. I strongly believe this is affordable for those on a tight budget and the weight was not an issue. It was very easy to mount on the wall by myself and that's always a plus in my book.

Very sturdy well designed rack. Of the models I've seen, this is the sturdiest. Most notable is the heavy gauge middle support that greatly increases overall rigidity. Other models with a hinge in the middle are much less rigid. The overall fit and finish could be better, but this is very usable and the best I've found. Price is a bit high at $50.

I love the tool rack and highly recommend it to anyone who wants their power tools, batteries and chargers organized rather than sitting around all over the place. It is sturdy, has lots of room for your power tools and storage and came with nice mounting hardware. The one real issue I found is that the 3 mounting holes are 14 1/2" inch on center....while the standard spacing for wall studs in most US homes is 16" on center. For something rated to hold this much weight I don't like to use drywall anchors simply because I have had them fail to many times. This left me with the option of mounting wood boards to the studs, then mounting the tool holder to the boards or mounting the center hole to the center stud and using 2 long screws at an angle on the ends to catch the outside studs. This is what I chose to do for now. (you could also mount the center hole to a stud and use drywall anchors on each end if you trust them) Would love to see this same rack with the holes spaced 16” on center! Please note I purchased this product with my own money and have no affiliation with those who make or sell it.

So this is a very neat product. Assembles in about 5 minutes, installs in another 5. The anchors are crap but I've got plenty of the right ones. Once installed it's very solid and stable. It my place for Ryobi and everything fits fine. I had to run a strip near it and plugged in there while chargers are on top shelf. Great for my needs, price was right too.

I'm skeptical of the construction on most Chinese metal products with them being flimsy, poorly designed with holes that don't line up and paint that is an afterthough. This shelf is none of those. The parts are of a nice gauge steel, the holes for assembly align properly and it goes together with the provided hardware quickly with clear directions. They even provide wall anchors for drywall and cinderblock. Nice product.
