I’ll start by saying that, when I opened the two boxes that the safe comes in, I was a bit disappointed by all the pieces and screws that were needed to put it all together. Once I got started however, I realized that it wouldn't be so hard to assemble since many of the screws go into the same sections of the safe. This is a safe that can be used as one large safe, where the two smaller safes are bolted together. It can also be used as two separate smaller safes, which I’ve never seen before. It comes with the correct accessories to bolt the two pieces together and to bolt the safe securely to the wall. One of the features of the safe that I like is the adjustability of the shelves. They can assembled the way you desire. It's nice that the safe has a USB power port. It’s located on the bottom side of the the knob. This ensures that the safe door can be opened in case the batteries to the digital keypad become depleted. Each section of the safe has two keys for their section of the safe, and there is an additional set to unlock the drawer, for a total of six keys. Lastly, the large section is the only section that has the digital keypad that unlocks that side of the safe. These options to open the safe, and for large capacity to hold guns, makes this a highly functional safe. The front door is the most heavy-duty part of the larger safe. It's much heavier than the three other sides of the safe and of the four sides of the smaller. This really cuts down the weight and movability of the safe. The paint coating on the safe looks really nice, it's a deep black color. It also seems to have a high quality finish, as I've had many opportunities to scratch it during installation, and it didn't, scratch it. It's important to remember that this is not a fireproof safe, but simply a good safe that is manufactured for durability, quality and stability. It's likely that this safe will last much longer than I'll be around. It's less than half the price than my smaller gun safe. This safe I can get behind and is easy to recommend.

I just finished building this. It's a hefty boy at around 130-140lbs and suggest 2 people to help move around. Building process: The building process is pretty straight forward. The instructions could be better but since all the parts are big, you can figure it out pretty quick. Comes with all the screws and even a screw driver and gloves. It's all held together by simple tap screws. You can upgrade theae if you like. Quality: Quality is alright. It's not made to keep thieves out of it and it's not fire proof. It is made to keep guest and kids away since it's a cabinet and not a safe. There's a electronic lock and key. The electronic lock takes I believe 4 AA batteries that is NOT INCLUDED so grab some batteries. It's thick enough to slow people down but once again it's not a safe but a cabinet Thoughts: It works for what I need it to do. It keeps the kids out, I can store my guns and ammo in a location with a lock and key. It's simple and it works. It is nice to just have something like this for now unless I want to upgrade to a $800+ safe that weighs 600+ lbs. Do your research on what you need and what you want.

Th gun safe is impressive in its ease of assembly and overall functionality. Putting it together is straightforward, though I highly recommend using a power drill over the included hand tools for a quicker setup. When it comes to security, the safe really stands out with its dual locking options, including a fingerprint reader and keypad, offering both convenience and reliable protection. I found the fingerprint reader to be fast and responsive, which is great for quick access when needed. The safe feels sturdy, with solid construction that’s perfect for keeping firearms and valuables secure. Bolting it to the floor adds an extra layer of security, and the overall sturdiness gives confidence that it’s not easy to tamper with. Inside, the space is well-organized, providing enough room for both long guns and smaller items, making it a practical and functional addition to any home. 100% recommended!!!

It was easy enough to put together with two people and the quality is good enough for what I needed it for (just a cheap basement safe). It definitely is NOT a 15-20 gun safe though. You can fit I think 6 handguns in the little pockets on the door and then the most amount of rifles I can get in there is 6 - there just isn't enough room for more rifles. Otherwise, the secondary safe with the shelves is very helpful for ammo/parts/tool storage, so I can't complain too much. If you're looking for a cheap safe that comes with plenty of storage but don't need a lot of room for actual firearms, this is a good deal. I will definitely have to buy a second safe as my rifle collection grows, though.

This is my first safe used to protect my items that needed to be locked up and away from little hands. It arrived in two large boxes and was not to hard to put together with some skills. The two options for locking and unlocking are a nice touch, I for one will stick with the key. There is plenty of room for the handheld items as well as the long range ones and the side cabinet is perfect for your other gear and bags. The safe is sturdy and made of decent quality materials. The shelving is spaced out and are the perfect size to store your items. The safe comes with solid bolts used to attach to the studs on a wall or flooring this properly secures the safe. I would recommend buying this safe over other more expensive ones as they function for the most part exactly the same.

Update: After trying to use the gun safe for awhile, I've noticed that the construction of the bottom drawer is very flimsy and hard to move in and out. There are 2 holes in the top of the side of the cabinet which allow air and moisture inside the cabinet. The motion activated light is very dim and doesn't activate all the time. I've updated my review. It's not a heavy fireproof safe and I knew that when I ordered it. But for a basement cabinet it should work great. I took 2 days to put the 2 pieces together. The extra lockable drawer at the bottom of the gun cabinet is a good size for important paperwork. It was thoughtful to include a magnetic light motion light. The digital pad was easy to program (requires 4 AA batteries), and the backup USB power source (great idea in case the batteries go out and the safe is locked) also requires 4 AA batteries. I put together one cabinet on each day. Assembly was pretty straightforward. A small size electric screwdriver or drill will speeds things up. The knob is easy to turn and the door has nice pockets for guns and extra magazines. For the price I thought this 2 piece cabinet was very good. When it arrived one of the front doors was damaged; I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement door within a couple of days (great customer service).

I got this safe to replace several other ones and to get everything organized and nice and neat in one place. It is basically two side by side cabinets that you screw together and it worked out really well for us. The safe comes disassembled but is very easy to put together and didn’t take my husband long to have it all done and in place. This safe is definitely very sturdy and great quality. The shelves are the perfect size and spaced out just right. My package was missing the drawer rails, but I contacted the company and they promptly sent the missing parts out to me. The safe is very easy to operate and we had no issues at all with any of the setup steps. It fits all our stuff very well and provides for ample space inside to organize and add more stuff. One improvement that I can think of is using the same felt material to line all the shelves instead of just the floor, but other than that, this safe is fantastic.

We bought this as a hopefully good gun cabinet to suit our needs. I will say 1st, there's no way this will fit 15-20 guns. We have 9 and hope to be buying 1-2 more and not sure we'll be able to make more than 1 more fit. (Keep in mind, most of these have scopes attached. We don't take them off once they're on them.) Most people leave theirs ready to use. It took us 2 different days to put these cabinets together as the first 1 needed parts bent that weren't already bent and so that was very frustrating. Because we couldn't use the top shelf as the guns wouldn't fit. The bottom drawer is what was needing to be bent and messed with to get it to fit. The shelving side was so much easier and the storage capacity is great. It's great for security as it has 2 keys for each lock and a keypad. It looks great as well. We didn't take pics as we were making it because we were frustrated, BUT, when all is said and done, it suits our needs just fine and we'll be ok with it.
