Features
- One indexing valve replaces three separate zone valves and their wiring runs -- each controller pulse steps the internal piston to the next of 3 zones across 4 outlet ports, cutting valve-box count and wire runs on tight reclaimed-water retrofits.
- The purple-accented RCW designation meets state plumbing code color requirements for non-potable reclaimed water lines, letting inspectors and maintenance crews identify this valve at a glance on dual-plumbed sites.
- Molded from high-strength, non-corrosive ABS polymer that resists the mineral buildup and chemical exposure common in reclaimed effluent, so the housing holds up through years of continuous service without cracking or swelling.
- Rated for a low 10 GPM at 25-75 PSI, matching the modest flow typical of small commercial properties and residential lots that don't need a full multi-valve manifold to cover every zone.
- A simple internal design with few moving parts means a tech can pull the cap and service the indexing mechanism in the field without disconnecting lateral lines, cutting downtime on repair calls.
Description
The 4000 line of indexing valves offers a reliable, economical way to automate multiple zoned residential and small commercial irrigation systems. These patented indexing valves allow for the number of watering zones to be changed quickly and easily. They are ideally suited for both city water and pump applications and may also be used for onsite wastewater or effluent water applications. The simplicity of design and few moving parts ensures ease of maintenance and long service life. The 4000 valve is available in 4 or 6 outlet models. A quick change of the cam allows the valve to operate with flows as low as 10 GPM and at pressures of 25 to 75 psi.
