This comes with NO instructions as to how to put it together. It is slats of wood with pre drilled holes in it. Looking on line is no help either as it talks about metal poles which this one does not have!! I am returning it.

Wow. This is really bad. I saw the previous one star review and figured there were instructions in the photos, so I’d try this. We’ve previously used a cross in place of a tree, but it got lost in a move, so I was really hoping this would serve as a replacement Christmas cross. Unfortunately, the insteuctions, craftsmanship and overall intentionality behind this Christmas cross is…awful. The pictures instructions (on the listing - nothing comes with the kit itself), make it seem like the wood pieces will line up with each other and be able to be screwed together. This is not so. None of the wooden pieces are labeled, and none have the correct amount of holes that seemingly they should have come with. There are 4 “base” pieces - which do not function in the way it seems they should. Hypothetically, there are two pieces that should tighten around one vertical piece, then two base pieces that provide support perpendicularly. The perpendicular pieces and the central base pieces are all similar in length, so I’m left guessing which should be in the middle and which should be on the outside. The outside ones have holes in the middle, but where they connect to the middle pieces - there are no holes along the ends. Basically, they should come together in a T but no holes are drilled to make this possible. When you get to the vertical part of the cross, all are pictured with holes at both ends to connect the pieces. In reality, only one piece came with holes at two ends. One piece has zero holes drilled. None are labeled. How on earth am I supposed to put this together? Best guess is I could drill my own holes and use the wood in whatever way I see fit. The accompaniments - garland, “silk” scarf, and lights are adequate but feel pretty cheap. Definitely not the quality I would have expected for nearly a $100 price tag. Save your money. Nail together two rustic limbs and create a base and it will be way less frustrating and more aesthetically pleasing than this. ... show more
