Color: C Flat Hex Black Set
Very nice kit. Extremely well packaged, all sizes of nuts and bolts are in individual bags, nice latched box, everything is oiled. Not a single defective - freaking unbelievable. All bolts and nuts are oiled. They even include a pair of tweezers and mini ranch set - completely unnecessary.

Most Organized Bolt Assortment I Have Gotten From Amazon

The media could not be loaded. With so many suppliers of bolt assortments, the details make the difference. This set gets the details right, and it is a cut above so many others. You'll be happy with this set. Pros: - every size item is bagged individually so they do not get intermixed during shippin
g. Everything arrives perfectly organized. - class 10.9 bolts and you can clearly see this marked on the heads. Class 10.9 is closely equivalent in strength to grade 8, which is excellent. Many similar sets sold on Amazon are class 8.8 (which is like grade 5), and some of those have bolts without markings on the heads, meaning the class is suspect. Others have no class or grade at all. In contrast, these are higher quality and they give me confidence. - clean threads on the nuts and bolts - robust packaging - tweezers included for handling the smaller sizes - allen wrenches included too (of course) Cons: - like every other imported bolt assortment I have ordered from Amazon, the nuts are thin. For example, an M6 nut should be at least 5mm thick in my experience, but most are thinner than that by at least half a mm. The M5 nuts in this set are 3.95mm thick, as shown in my video. With fewer threads in the nut, the nuts strip easier. I'm deducting one star for the thin nuts, but that complaint is not unique to this set. In comparison to the other sets I have reviewed, this one is tops. As far as I know, the only solution is to buy nuts separately or pay a lot more (e.g., tens times as much) for an assortment with proper thickness nuts. In conclusion, this is one of the best bolt assortments I have received from Amazon. Fully recommended.

Not much to say, it is exactly as described/ you'd expect. I do like that they came organized in a 'plano' style storage case. If I had to list a negative, it would be that each size of screw/nut came in individual packaging which was quite a waste of plastic. Other than that, no complaints.

Awesome kit for tinkeres with good strength
Color: A Black Hex Socket Set
I build speakers and arcades in my free time and go thru 1000s of screws. This selection is great for varying sizes. My biggest bead with cheap screws is how easy the heads strip under tension. These hold up fairly well against the competition. I continue to use these in my projects

They Aren't Actually Rusty
Color: A Black Hex Socket Set
It appears the factory that this product comes from does not oil—specifically—the nuts and washers on the black oxide sets. All of the bolts themselves came coated in oil. Even without the oil, none of the nuts, washers, or bolts themselves were rusty on arrival. That "rusty" appearance coating the i
nside of the nut & washers bag is just loose dirt & oxide powder from the giant bin at the dirty mill/factory that makes its way into the bag along with the fasteners when they fill them. I just dumped the 6 nut and washer bags into disposable cups, sprayed some WD-40 on them, and then wiped the excess away with a paper towel. You'll see after cleaning the dust off that they have no actual rust on them. They're in good condition and work well. Kind of a pain since they're new, but it only took a few minutes. Black oxide is supposed to have oil applied to it, so you should oil the nuts and washers if you choose either of the black oxide sets. I also recommend reserving the black oxide sets for indoor & dry conditions, as they won't hold up well to wet conditions for very long without rusting (even with oil applied). Grab the stainless set if you plan to use them in outdoor or wet conditions. Overall, this is a great set of fasteners.

good product, but... some flaws

lots of the nuts have no threads, some screws have no slot for the screwdriver head. still, LOTS of parts, so that makes up for it.
