I am very impressed with the quality of the machine, it is very sturdy and well made. There are so many ideas I have for using this, I am thinking of buying another one for my daughter, she does face painting at different festivals and it would be great to also offer the children a button with a picture of their face painting. I also think it would be great for a teacher at the beginning of school to do a picture with name button for class seating arrangement, and at the end of the year she could let the students have their own button to keep. The media could not be loaded. Talk about fast shipping, it was here right away. Extremely well packed, much better than other items I get from other suppliers, see picture that includes both boxes...one is a handled storage box the other was quality shipping box. Very easy to use, sturdy and well made, expecting a lifetime of use with no issues! The instructions are pretty straight forward when you line it up like in the pictures. However the left picture in Step 8 shows the pin part of the badge upside down. You can actually turn the backing to better line it up after the badge is assembled if need be. Also be careful you are only using one piece of plastic badge cover at a time, they are very thin and its easy to get more than one. ... show more

I purchased this to make some pins for my daughters cheer team. I was never able to make them. The papers are already cut inside so you can print them apply. The machine is either broken or just doesn’t work. I pressed like 10 to see if I was doing something wrong. My paper, card stock, their paper and nothing. It doesn’t completely seal. I really enjoyed this button maker. Has been reliable and easy with the included supplies. The downside is it does not function at all with the metal back refills we purchased. The machine does not seem to cup the front part enough to stay together. Would recommend as long as you want to stick with plastic backed buttons, where it has worked great for us. ... show more

Instructions were a bit difficult to read at first but the whole process is pretty straightforward. The clamp is very sturdy and all moving parts work smoothly. The badge maker came with A LOT of materials so I don't think I'll be running out soon. I tried making the first one with a Milky Way cut out I found laying around and it turned out excellent. I messed up a little centering the logo but there were no sharp edges around the badge and the protective cover is nice and secure. ... show more

I have wanted a button maker since I was a kid. 40 years later I finally bought one. It is great fun and honestly feels like being a kid. The machine is fully assembled, so just a matter of following the easy instructions. The badge parts are packaged separately and easy to insert. They thought of everything, so the most difficult part is learning the order of each part. Quite simple after you make a few buttons. The fun part is coming up with ideas and new uses for buttons.
