I'm having so much fun with this button maker. It's solid, good quality, easy to use. It was bigger than I'd anticipated, but that is because it's metal and made due high production. The set came with so many button components that I've got plenty to play with. Although I thought I was going to have to build it myself from parts, it showed up mostly all assembled. Only the handle needed to be screwed on. I will try to add a video later on how it works because I figured out where everyone keeps going wrong in the reviews. After ruining two buttons, I watched a ton of videos of people using it and realized the metal peg was not supposed to go through the hole in the first step. Next, a few buttons were ruined by thickness of paper. You cannot use just printer paper alone or it's likely to fall apart down the line. You also can't use too thick or the metal plate in the button will bend/ break beyond use. If you messed up a few times like me and have buttons you only used thin printer paper in, you can use a hard flat surface (that you don't care about scratching) to fold the metal edge on the back of the button more secure similar to a pie tin folding over the lid. There's not much else you can do to salvage those mistake pins. I find a lot of reviews are blaming the machine for user error. The instructions are not so clear, but YouTube is packed with instructions that are. We have more resources than the past generations all in the palm of our hands ... Use it. Lastly it came suuuppeerrr early. I'm not saying that's the universal experience, but don't plan travel arrangements before the delivery date. Super easy to put together i found the instructions at the end lol but it just logic how to assemble it. Is strong ans metallic nothing is plastic here. I tried the cutter which is plastic with the blade but it does the job and the plastic buttons that came with it they are not that good actually but i didn't pretend to use them anyway so that's cool. I buyed the second hand one from amazon warehouse and the small buttons were all iver the place but that's a minor detail because i don't care about those i tried them of course just to see how they turn both sizes and is pretty amazing!!!!     • Great Button Maker / Missing Items / Terrible Customer Service

I first need to state that this is a great button maker. It's well made, easy to use and very sturdy. I'm giving it a low rating for the reason that follows.... After a few days of testing and making several of the larger sized buttons, we switched over to the smaller size and discovered that the transparent protective films for the 25MM were missing from the box. The two options through Amazon were 1) return the whole item, or 2) contact the manufacturer. Since we already used quite a few of the supplies for the larger buttons, and it was only a small pouch of films that were missing, I decided to contacted Vevor. I worked with their customer service department via chat/email. They verified my order with Amazon and offered two options; 1) The would send the missing items from their supplier overseas with an estimated 2 - 3 weeks delivery time, or 2) Return the whole thing to Amazon. As I mentioned above, I did not think that a total refund/replacement was necessary since the missing items were so small, so confirmed that I would wait for the missing films. 3 weeks later, still no replacement, but I did get an auto-generated email from Vevor stating that since they never heard from me, they would assume that the issue has been resolved and would be closing the ticket in 24 hours. I contacted them immediately and re-explained the whole ordeal. They responded with "I'm sorry that we can't contact the technical staff to reissue the accessories for you, please contact Amazon as soon as possible to refund you." So, now I'm back to square 1. I still don't feel right about returning an item that 1) I like, and 2) I have already used so much of the supplies. But I also don't think it's right that they will not work with me to find a solution. I've found that if I were to purchase the missing items, through amazon, it would run me $25+, so it looks like I have no choice but to send the whole thing back. WHAT A PAIN! Right off the bat I was fairly certain I received a used product. I needed some buttons for an event quickly, and it appeared to be in very good shape, so I decided to keep it. It’s an amazing product… I churned out some really great metal and plastic 1.25 buttons…. And then I wanted to use up the remaining buttons so I made some plastic 2.25 buttons… they are fabulous. Then I went to use the 2.25 metal buttons and not ONE worked. They would not crimp, and I thought I knew what I was doing when it comes to making buttons. I did some research and You Tubing, and I “believe” what happened is there is supposed to be a ring that goes under the button backing press. There was nothing in my supplies, so I assume that is the problem, the item I was sent did not have the correct supplies included. Also, I had ordered extra “off brand” 1.25 button supplies and they did not work on the Vevor. The crimping was very poor and wrinkled. The holes on the back were too large and the pin moved around and caused an issue when put together. I did order another VEVOR machine as they are the best, just hoping for a new product. I now buy my supplies directly from VEVOR. Only use VEVOR supplies with VEVOR button makers! ... show more

I was a little skeptical about ordering this item, but went ahead. I have not had any problems. Any issues where user error. I will say make sure you take your time and make sure everything is lined up. I found that the side rail pins have helped in making sure I am successful with each pin I make. The only issue I really had was remembering to put the back in the 2nd press. As long as I did that, the button came out perfect. Buy it. Stay focused, follow the instructions and you will have a beautiful button. ... show more
