    • Trackball rotation is not a good idea.
Seems strong and built well, but having the camera sit on a trackball mount makes lining up straight shots really tedious.

    • It's ok for the money.
On first use It's decent for the money but wants to tip over when I use my 85mm prime on the extension to hover over subject. Maybe I had it extended too far out. Other than that no complaints as it'll probably end up a tripod for lighting in a year or two.

    • Lightweight, compact and sturdy
I use a extension bar to put two DSLRs on it and it holds the weight sturdily. Meanwhile it is more compact and about the same weight as my old one that can hold the weight of only one before the head screw starts to slip. So it's a smaller but more heavy duty solution.
