I use my camera a lot and was hoping to be able to use the lens cap worry-free...no such luck. The adhesive on the back of the bungee was not effective at all. (I cleaned the cap thoroughly before application.) Within a week, my cap fell to the ground. I even tried cutting off the adhesive end and running the string thru the cap and tying it off, but a few days later it was off again. Also worth noting that if your lenses go into any slim carrying case this product will be problematic as the nature of it's "connection" to the lens leaves it sticking out a little bit, so I was constantly adjusting the product around my lens before each use.

Used it for a few weeks now. After cleaning the area of attachment with alcohol and sticking the gummed area to the lens cover, it has never given me any hint that it's gonna come off. Very confident now that it will cover my precious lens for a long time without fear of falling off and getting lost. Highly recommended.
