  • Precision and Stability for Serious Photography
Size: Tête de trépied GD-3W Color: 3-Way Geared Tripod Head
The K&F Concept 3-Way Geared Tripod Head is a fantastic addition to my photography gear! The millimeter micro-adjustment feature is incredibly precise, making it ideal for star shooting, architectural photography, and other scenarios where accuracy is key. The CNC aluminum alloy construction feels solid and durable, yet it’s not overly heavy. With a maximum load capacity of 6kg, it comfortably supports my camera and heavier lenses without any wobbling. Adjustments are smooth and intuitive, and the locking mechanisms hold everything securely in place, even for long exposure shots. This tripod head has significantly improved my workflow, allowing me to frame shots with ease and confidence. For anyone serious about commercial or astrophotography, it’s a must-have tool! ... show more

  • Have the ability to lock each axis independently
Size: 28mm Ball Head Color: Black
If you need a ball head that locks the vertical, and horizontal movements separately, this is the answer. Once set, the camera is rock solid, not the slightest movement. Very easy to make slight adjustments to maximize your composition. Unlike other ball heads I have tried, this adds no noticeable weight to the tripod. Have tried other ball heads, tilt & pan heads, l brackets, none hve provided the stability, and flexibility that this does. Highly rcommend ... show more

  • Great Build and Performance
Size: Gimbalkopf + 1130g Color: Upgraded Gimbal Tripod Head
**Update** After a week of heavy use, the yaw screw lock stripped while I was unscrewing it. I never tightened it excessively, but it still broke. Initially disappointed, I ordered a replacement from Amazon. I returned the broken one and have been testing the new one thoroughly. I’m happy to report that it’s holding up well so far. I hope the first one was just a lemon and an isolated incident. I’ll provide updates if I encounter any further issues. ** As a newcomer to this type of tripod head, my experience with the K&F Concept Upgraded Gimbal Tripod Head has been fantastic. The product feels sturdy, and I trust it with my heavy lenses. Initially, I was cautious, as using expensive equipment on an unfamiliar device can be unnerving. After watching a few videos on properly setting up and balancing the head on all axes, I was impressed by its performance. Despite being used frequently and stacked with other tripods, it shows no signs of wear or tear. I still thoroughly check and test it before each use, but it is well-built and seems durable over time. If I encounter any issues, I will update this review accordingly. ... show more

  • Quality, Durability, Precision!!!
Size: 28mm Ball Head Color: Black
I use this mount to support my camera, heavy lens, microphone, and a prompter—all mounted together—and the setup gets quite heavy. I needed a joint that could hold everything securely in place without slipping, and this product fits the bill perfectly! I’ve tried cheaper alternatives, and while they worked for the first 10 minutes, they gradually started giving in to the weight, which is a huge problem if you’re in the middle of recording. With this mount, that’s no longer an issue. Once you set it up, it stays in place virtually forever. Never needed to readjust. The build quality, durability, and precision are outstanding! Every turn of the knobs is smooth, and you can tell it’s been crafted with care and attention to detail. The quick-release mechanism is also incredibly easy to use, making adjustments a breeze, and it does look good with my camera :) Don’t waste your money on cheap options that will fail when you need them most. Invest in this one from the start—you won’t regret it! ... show more

  • Failed Gear Head
Size: Tête de trépied GD-3W Color: 3-Way Geared Tripod Head
The media could not be loaded. Originally I loved this gear head as it was originally easy to use, compatible with my arca-swiss plates, and operated buttery smooth. And I'll be a little vain - loved the color combo with my smallrig plate. However after only a week I started to notice that after adjusting to my desired angle (real estate and events, so no extreme angling here), the side to side action was getting looser and looser to the point that the weight of my camera (Nikon Z8 + FTZ II + Tamron 15-30mm 2.8f G2) would be too much for the head and it would list to the side instead of solidly holding level. No way to tighten or correct it, and I ended up having to hold up the camera while on the geared head to keep it level. Kinda defeats the purpose. The knob for the forwards and backwards tilt also became hard to twist and I had to fight it just to allow me to tilt my camera to level it with the scene. When removing camera gear, knobs twisted smoothly when testing, but definite side to side wobble. I reached out to K+F with the video showing the listing from side to side - but before they could get back at me, the tension knob holding my arca-swiss plate released while on a shoot and next thing I see is my gear tumbling towards the ground and breaking apart like my heart. For reference the K+F gear head is mounted on a Manfrotto 190xpro tripod (built like a freakin tank). So far the FTZ converter is completely toast and the repair shop is assessing the damage on the camera body and lens. Currently talking to K+F but have low hopes. They keep telling me they want "real photos" and they want detailed photos, which is a bit hard to do when you yourself are in shock, calming down you AND the client, making plans b c and d, rescheduling all the shoots for the rest of the day, and running to the nearest camera store to see if any of your gear survived. To add insult to injury to a no good terrible day, some guy at the camera store ignored the visual evidence (was literally carrying my tripod + head) took it on himself to mansplain in great detail how a 3-way gear head worked, that he never heard of gear heads failing, and Oh and I didn't need a 3-way head if all I was doing was taking pretty pictures with a small camera, and hadn't I considered a ball head instead? Moral(s) of the story: - Benro makes a similar 3-way gear head that locks(!!) your plate in place. Even if the tension knob is loose, your gear only slides forwards and backwards on the rail instead of up and out like the K+F version. Color combo is black and blue, but better the gear head than your heart - despite the temptation, don't take out mansplainers with your tripod - camera insurance camera insurance camera insurance - invest in backup camera gear, trust me it'll save your bacon and makes terrible no good days less stressful Good luck! ... show more
