Simple, and small... POWERFUL FAN. An EXCELLENT bargain at the price. I shopped around on here for a while and chose carefully.... was concerned this might be junk cause it's so cheap. But no. THIS FAN IS AWESOME. Can't say anything for the longevity yet, but PERFORMANCE IS GREAT. Smaller than I expected, simplest switch possible (press same button for on off and to cycle through 3 speeds), but EXTREMELY POWERFUL WIND MOVEMENT for it's size. Perfect for my intended use of cooling laptop underside on elevated stand. Versatile placement due to small size, and on high speed wind can be felt 6-10ft away or more. Two minor COMPLAINTS: First, that it's LOUD on high, but it's worth the noise for the cfm. It's a tiny fan that moves a lot of air. Physics. It's gonna be loud. Second, the BASE COULD BE BIGGeR. (wider) If tilted on at sharp angle , it's a bit top heavy. It stays up but knocks over easily if at hard angle. This is easily remedied by fastening base to table or a makeshift wider base attached to the fan itself. If using fan relatively UPRIGHT, it IS PERFECTLY STABLE. These minor issues may or may not affect your situation. This is a GREAT little fan for the price. I'm GLAD I BOUGHT TWO, to have a backup.

I bought this little fan because I use a trackball all day and my hand used to get hot and sweaty. This little fan (even on low and half hidden behind a monitor) moves enough air to keep my hand much more comfortable- a little less than a bowling ball fan at a bowling alley. It's very quiet on low, and not bad on high. It's a pleasant white noise, a bit more muted and lower in tone, not strident at all and very definitely noticable moving air (again, just "testing" on high. I also got this one because the base is big and sturdy- a clamp on one would not be right for me. It's lightweight, so some sticky tape would hold it find under a desk if you like that sort of thing. The speed setting is a big push button on the back. Easy to feel but you also won't be changing the speed by mistake. I don't know if there's any sort of "on" light anywhere. I plugged this into a standard USB on my laptop's charging station and didn't hear a peep from my computer- no warnings about too much current draw. The cord is maybe 40 inches; I dunno but enough to get around corner of my desk. 10/10 would buy again, do recommend.

It’s lightweight and small enough to move between my desk and nightstand, but it doesn’t feel flimsy. The design is straightforward—just plug it into a USB port or adapter, and it’s ready to go. The three speed settings are handy: low for a gentle breeze when working, medium for steady airflow, and high when I really want to cool down quickly. Even on high, it’s not overly loud—more of a soft hum that fades into the background. The ability to tilt the head makes it easy to direct the airflow exactly where I want it, and I’ve found it especially useful during late-night work sessions when I don’t want to run a noisy full-size fan. A couple of small things to keep in mind: the fan doesn’t oscillate automatically, so you’ll need to adjust it manually if you want to change the angle. Also, since it’s USB powered, you’ll want to have an outlet adapter or open USB port available. Bottom line: A simple, quiet, and effective little fan that punches above its size—perfect for desktops, bedside tables, or even tossing in a bag for travel.

First off I had to take one star off for a misleading product description. It lists this as a 5" fan. However, it is more like a 4". I had read some reviews and viewed attached pictures showing a smaller fan. However, some buyers received a 5" fan. So I can only imagine the supplier is exhausting current 5" stock and transitioning to a smaller, cheaper 4". Ok, that's out of the way. I bought this 2-pack to improve air flow at my home laptop station (2 laptops). These little guys really move the air nicely. I was impressed with the fan speed at Level 2 and 3. There are three settings with a push of the power button. 1 - Low, 2 - Medium, 3 - High and 4- Off. I would say on High it is as loud as some laptop fans. If you have external speakers, headset or earbuds, you won't notice it. Size issue aside, I am happy with it's performance. The compact size is well built and seems to be durable. It is USB powered so it conveniently plugs into my hub. It's a winner for me but can't help wonder how the 5" variety performs.

It works fine in what it does and keeps the air flowing. But some work needs to be done on the base. The fan blows it back and causes a strong vibration, so it keeps moving backward on the desk.
