  • I mean.. it works?
This fan works but I ended up returning it because it looked like it washed up on the beach! It was definitely not a new item. If it was it certainly got water damaged or something.

  • Blow it out the rear... or the front.
I am using this fan to cool down a receiver. Since the receiver is sitting in a shelf, the only opening is the front of the receiver. The receiver sits in the shelf with about 5 inches of clearance top, the sides have 3 inches of clearance. The receiver sits in a spot where enough air can pass through. Although I figure it is not enough to keep the receiver cool enough when playing movies at almost theatre level loud. I might not be using them as intended, but it works. The receiver does maintain cool, and I know cause these fans are being run and controlled by a thermostat controller from the same company. The fans specs claim moving 22 cfm (cubic feet per meter). But I had to use two of these fans to cool down a Pioneer sc-87 receiver. The fans are blowing the hot air through the front of the receiver. What you can tell right away is the dust. That is not the fault of the fans. If you do use them on a receiver, at some point you will have to have it serviced to clean the dust out of the receiver. Not like I live in the middle of nowhere. Even in the suburb life on a street that has almost no traffic, dust somehow gets into stuff. In my setup the fans are not on constantly, they only turn on when triggered by the controller. The fans also do not take up that much space. They only require about an inch or so. They are slim enough to put between components. They are good fans, these are pretty raw and they add small foam feet. It removes any vibration so ny noise is just fan noise. I would recommend this product. ... show more

  • Good fan, I use for cooling my wine cooler ...
Good fan, I use for cooling my wine cooler cabinet ... only is CFM a bit small; noise level is good. I will order for spair. If it is not "MADE IN CHINA" will be great.

  • Big, powerful, and works great.
This is a very high flow fan that is relatively quiet compared to its size and power. I'm using it to cool my cnc electronics and it works great.
